There's an idea: let's rely on the government to tell us how to do things. I say give us more of this type of reward system where people/municipalities get recogized for doing things themselves and being self-sufficient. The less government intervention the better.

I'm not sure why I'd ever say that large deficits are a benefit, but there are probably liberals out there who think that's the case. I'll have to think about it... I especially love it when they start talking higher taxes and limiting freedom as good things.
