Reminds me of the bad tempered "ochchan" in Osaka streets, probably he thought that 2 young dudes partying in Europe would take him seriously when he faced them in the street and demanded money.If he thought so,he SHOULD have stayed in Japan,instead of trying his luck somewhere else.Poor guy,hope he rests in peace.

the message between the lines is;
"Japan does not matter anymore,we are focusing on China and India,which is more than enough for our profitable operation compared to the pain and costs in Japan" may be too hard for Japanese Motor show organizers to digest.

@Harry_Gatto: this is also possible.Automakers use different suppliers for the same component(pedal sensor) in different markets(Asia:Denso,EU:Bosch,US:Delphi) due to cost concerns and different legislations.But it is no secret that this happened due to a Software problem.Software that worked well with a Japanese component may not work very well with a US component and vice versa.But in the end,the Automaker is legally responsible for assuring the safety of the end customer.
