    What a load of BS. Pole dancing is a stipper's dance and to compare it with real Olympic athletics is absurd. Maybe the next trend will be to promote topless car washers or strip-o-gram services. The Olympic's is a series of games to honor the best of the best atheletes and not some freak show of odd perverted talent.

    Wait just a minute everyone. It seems to me in my humble opinion that wikileaks targeted only the United States of America's information yet they "wikileaks" claim that they want the world to be transparent and if there are no secrets, the world will be a better and safer place. By releasing only the information for the United States of America and not information from Russia, China, Iran or North Korea they are taking sides that the USA is the only bad guy in the world. What a bunch of BS. Julian Assange is obviuosly biased and not a true defender of world freedom or am I wrong here???

    The problem is not over fishing, it is that there are too many human beings on this small planet which cannot feed all of them. We waste all natural resources and eat other species into extinction and the solution that everyone speaks about is reducing waste and artificially farming our food sources when the real answer is to severely reduce the human population. I am not saying kill people but we must immediately limit the number of people that are being born and get back to say a planet with less than 2 billion people which is sustainable otherwise we will have massive world wars over food and natural resources and or go extinct. You can only put so many people on an island before you run out of space to live. Think about it.

    These Japanese/Chinese claimed islands belong to the world or should. Imagine if an alien spaceship came to the earth and looked at all the squabbling countries and their lack of being able to work together. We as human beings are truly a bunch of immature siblings all grabbing for whatever we want to call ours. It's time to form a world government without borders and work towards a common goal instead of all the power brokering that will cause the world to end as we know it a few centuries from now.

    Japan is like Disneyland, it's all a surreal image but with a sexual tone. Japanese people used to have character but now Japanes people are characters, weird characters acting in a strange fashion play. If Japan is to pull it's self out of the economic funk it is in, the younger generation needs to get serious and stop playing around and grow up.

    The parents must be blind to not notice a pregnancy regardless of how fat the 18 year may have been. The parents should also be charged.

    Shourd and her fellow hikers should get the Darwin award for their incredible stupidity by venturing into such a hostile and remote location with supposedly no idea of where the Iranian border was located. I thought CAL Berkeley grads were smart. I guess "no one beats CAL" except the Iranians.

    California is broke and going down the drain and it's governator is spending tax payers money on a trip (for what?) to Japan. Hopefully Meg Whitman will get elected Governor and fire lots of useless state workers then farm those jobs out to the private sector which need it badly.

    Why is the Bishop Roger Vangheluwe not arrested like regular people who commit such crimes. Why is the Belgian government protecting his status and allowing him to walk as a free man when he admits he committed the crime(s).

    At least someone is going about making a protest and so what if he is 70 years old. He was probably at the summer of love in San Francisco and woodstock too denouncing the Vietnam war but today young people don't give a darn and want someone else to carry their torch. Reallistically, the public demand for whale, dolphin or porpoise (cetacean) meat is about nil. Who do you know that eats and enjoys whale, dolphin or porpoise meat? The killing of Dolphins by the fishermen in Taiji is cruel as they are killed by stabbing them and letting them slowly bleed to death. The cultural aspect of the Taiji dolphin cull is a bunch of horse manure and those fishermen need to find another source for their horrible cultural celebration. If a group of Japanese hunters started rounding up deer like you see in Nara into a stockade and stabbing them to death with long spears, Japanese people would be going nuts and shut it down. Japanese are insensitive to the dolphin cull because they don't consider them to be sentient beings which is a shame on Japan considering the country claims to be deeply rooted in buddhism.

    Obama made a big mistake by weighing in on this issue. The government of the United States of America should not be discussing religion and comments about whether a mosque, church or temple should be built here or there. I persoanlly think that building that mosque so close to the site of the destroyed world trade center buildings is a bad idea and is a slap at america's face. There are plenty of other properties in the greater new york area to build that mosque. Obama needs to fix the problems inside the USA and defending the borders and getting rid of illegals should be higher on his agenda than commenting about the new york mosque which makes him look like a Islam sympathizer.
