It will get worse as people will not be buying any cars, on top of government subsidizing horrible companies that need to fail. Once again the government is interfering with the market, while the short term affects may look great the long term affects will be horrendous.

Based on Aso’s instruction to Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Minister Kazuyoshi Kaneko, the ministry will study a new program to extend loans to condominium builders through the Japan Housing Finance Agency and Japan Finance Corp, they said.

The government should not have wasted so much money for jobs/companies that need to fail. Given what is happening to the economy, the government will continue to dig a deeper hole with public spending projects, otherwise known as "Useless Projects that never make any profits."
