    So you're saying Islamic terrorism isn't really a threat? That 911 wasn't about Islamic terrorism? Huh. I can't understand how there can be headlines of Islamic terrorism on a daily basis and yet, according the left, it's really just an illusion and "paranoia". Either the left is totally disconnected from reality or they want the US attacked. My best guess is the latter, though they'd never admit it.

    I bet Gates has experienced unfair treatment throughout his entire life.

    Huh? The guy's a tenured professor at the most pestigious ivy league school in the nation. The mean salary of a Harvard professor is about $169,000. And he likely benefited from affirmative action along the way. Not to mention he's a personal friend of the president of the United States. So what's all this "unfair treatment" you're talking about?

    Bottom line: When a policeman asks to see your ID, you say "Yes sir" and give it to him.

    President Barack Obama said police had acted “stupidly.”

    How does he know? Completely outrageous for the president of the US to make a statement like this when there's been no formal investigation of what actually happened. But I'm not surprised either since the left needs to perpetuate racism in order to garner money and votes.

    It's not like they're mutually exclusive. You can do both. NASA is only a fraction of a percent of the federal budget. How about shutting down some of the more wasteful social programs that account for most of the federal budget?

    America just elected a Black president if you hadn't noticed. Anyway, the left must perpetuate racism since their political agenda, and votes, depend on it.

    Gates is the director of Harvard University’s W.E.B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American Research and served for 15 years as chairman of what is now the Department of African and African American Research.

    Being so steeped in his own ethnicity, I would venture to guess this guy blames everything in his life that doesn't go just right on racism.

    If NASA had maintained it's 1960's level of spending, we'd probably already have a base on Mars. The US being the lead in space exploration is just as much about national security as it is science and exploration. I'm all for it.

And what's happened to the billions of dollars in aid the "Palestinians" have received and continue to receive from the US, Europe, and other countries around the world? They are one of the world's leading per capita recipients of foreign aid.

    She's simply stating the obvious. That's the whole purpose of the global warming hysteria - to destroy the U.S. economy. Leftists hate capitalism and what better way to destroy the "evil corporations" than to limit their energy use. The issue has less to do with the environment and more to do with the socialist agenda. I wish some of the leftists here would have the cajones to just admit it. But, of course, they won't. They'll just bring up the polar bears again.
