luca, best you start lashing those tyres together, pal. But, if you think the tax environment is more advantageous in Belgium, you'd best look to greener horizons with the help of TDV.

“If they put up a video which talks about how terrible Americans are, we put up a video which talks about, you know, how terrible they are,” Clinton said."
What's this, the,"I know you are, but what am I?" stategy? Yes, Hillary is indeed the consumate diplomat. Nah, just a dip, sh!t.

The chump in charge must have just read," How To Win Friends and Influence People", albeit a poorly translated version.
On the other hand, since it is KNOWN that NK actually has WMD, isn't it curious that the hegemon HASN'T tried to invade? Wonder why that is?

It started as an argument between two men, only one was a student.
" Witnesses reported seeing two men arguing in a small courtyard between the library and the Academic Building when one man pulled a gun and shot the student, sending dozens scurrying for cover.
The student was shot three times and is reportedly in critical condition at Ben Taub General Hospital.
The gunman also received a gunshot wound, and a maintenance worker was hit in the leg from what the Harris County sheriff's office said was "crossfire."
Carlton Berry, 22, has been charged with aggravated assault, the sheriff's office said. Spokesman Alan Bernstein said Berry remained hospitalized. No other identities were available.
Authorities had not confirmed whether only one man had a gun and fired. "

SS " Herve - "missiles are bombs."
Even a grade schooler would laugh at that one. :-)"
Ah, yes. Then let the grade-schoolers to which you referred run the show.
As we know, the nation's leaders are adults, but often behave as grade-schoolers.
What we CAN expect from Obama is continuation of failed policies both at home and abroad. More secret bombings without legal recourse or restraint, more robbing of the productive segments of Americans that remain, and more curtailment of fundamental rights of citizens.
But at least we had that lovely tune by Alicia Keyes droning on about how "Obama is on fire". I didn't see any flames, but maybe there was smoke. Chooming at the Ball?

" but before we leave the hornet's nest I say we also make sure they can't send any more drones or "queens" outside of their territory anymore either."
There are a couple ways to accomplish that: 1: Walk away and let them calm themselves 2: Encapsulate the hive 3: Encapsulate the hive and exterminate 4: Send Tom Cruise to complete the MI series

" unless the U.S. steps up and takes the lead in cutting carbon emissions, future generations (if our species survives much beyond the next 30-40 years) will likely point the finger of blame at the GOP and its conservative supporters."
Perhaps instead of laying blame on a political party for everything including global climactic fluctuations, it would be more prudent to view the much bigger picture. Please note that I'm no fan of GOP.,
The warming trend started before the end of the last Ice Age. Can't credit humans for that.

Jimizo, I'm with you on Harry's ill-considered words(par for him), but somewhat disagree about the insurgent 's statements. While I agree that their religious fundamentalism is psychopathic, it's their own homeland they are/have been fighting for. They have "skin in the game" , so to speak. That's why, though far out-gunned by both the Soviets and the US/UN, they have not been eliminated. The current invaders will retreat ignominiously as previously the Soviets, and before the Soviets the Brits.
Leave the hornet's nest to the hornets.

" Obama will take the country there and for that he will be mentioned along with Lincoln, FDR, Washington, Jefferson, Truman when it is all over. Today progressive have earned the right to celebrate."
Pretty sure you just insulted Jefferson, and maybe Washington.
Lincoln, FDR, and Truman... how many people died as a result of their warmongering? Not a group with which to be associated.

SS3,
" Bombing? Who's being bombed in Afghanistan? Are US bombers dropping their payloads? When? Where?"
Ummm, have you not been paying attention to world news for these last four years? Drone attacks(missiles are bombs, and they kill indescriminently) in: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, and who-knows-where-else(national security SECRET) . All specifically, extrajudicially authorized by your idol.

The irony of Obama's second inauguration on MLK Day is astounding.
To hear a fellow Afro-American's input is enlightening, to say the least. A terrific blogger is Gary Gibson at TDV:

This is the part I liked,
" “But at the end of the day I was in a private area and there should be a certain amount of privacy that one should expect."
Yes, I agree with the privacy bit, as long as that right to privacy extends to all, and not just the elite few.
But bragging about his kills may have endangered not only himself and kin but other Brits in the future by radicals.

" I am cheerfully writing this from Japan…"
Quite literally Apples vs Oranges(mikan in fact) for comparison. Gun ownership was never very widespread before the ban, and one can obtain one nefariously at relatively low cost, as the yaks do. The average Taro is so passively sheepish that it's no wonder the birthrate is so low. But, even then there are the whole-family slaughters oft reported. No, there aren't shooting sprees, and that is good.

" That is wihy states with the toughest gun control laws have some of the lower rates of gun deaths and why are large percentage of states with lax gun laws have the highest number of gun deaths--and most of them are "red" states."
Again, MORE false info being spewed. Read John Lott's book. The actual statistics contradict that presuppostion so widely distributed by the regressive left.
