Me? I'm just making a simple statement. Me? I'm gratful but I'm also skepticable. People don't give out free money for no reason. Some give to charity because they get good will or entice others to join them and some just do it.

I'm skeptical of their donation, what exactly do they want in return.

exactly what's wrong with this? You only have one life, live it to the fullest. And if dating someone who could be your granddaughter makes you happy, go for it

I hope you realize that Guam has a US military base. Attacking guam is comparable to pearl harbor

btw, roper v. simmons was a US supreme court ruling that prevents the death penalty from being dihed out to anyone under 18. It's a very common mistake because we kill so many people

It's on diverse in the city. If you're in the suburbs, it's more like 90%+ of your typical white community. With a sprinkle of blacks, hispanic, and asians

Hmm, a group that did nothing to the rest of japan; only a few members did. And now you want them all to suffer for a few? Thank god we're not in the UK, or they'll be hanged and stoned to death

"Not only do the Japanese lack common sense they really are unique"

oh really? and what exactly is common sense? Turning on your AC and have rolling black outs? Wearing a short sleeve shirt when it's 110 outside? Drinking water until you die of dry drowning?

Check in on you? I though you gaijins all left because of the "terrible radiation that's supposed to kill all of us in 2 weeks"

hey I'm just pointing out a fact. Being white in Japan is like being Asian in Europe. Last time i was stationed in Germany, every german stared at me like i was some deranged lunatic (i'm only deranged at home).

I didn't get treated very well and i had to obey German laws. And being budhist, i couldn't even show my swatiska or I would be fined and imprisoned. Just saying, if you're in a foreign country, you have to obey by their rules

Why would it matter who owns it first? It's like saying the US shouldn't own America because the native Americans were there first. If you have the military might and money, it belongs to you. As long as japan has military might and money, it belongs to them.

But here's a funny question, japan has a self defense army like South Korea. Their only offensive army is the US, like south korea. So if Japan and south korea fight each other..would the US fight itself?

I hope so, it would be fun.

    chewitup,

Insanity comes from the old English common law. A person who has lost touch with reality and has no clue as to what he is doing is insane. As such, there is a presumption that the person did not act voluntarily.

It's like driving a car and having a heart attack and you lose control and kill some kid. Did you know you were going to have a heart attack? probably not. Did you intend to hit the kid? Probably not. Could you do anything about it? probably not.

I wonder, is Norway's insanity like common law insanity? Could the person differentiate between wrong and right

    Globalwatcher,

I have to disagree with you on one thing. the Us does not have a public infrasctructure because...most of our roads/bridges/etc are falling apart and really needs to be repaired

    Jimney,

I'm not sure. If NK attacks Japan, the US is required to protect it. But the US currently has no money, so intervention would require borrowing more money from China.

China needs to continue feeding the war machine.

    Breit,

Tea partiers are people with a simple logic, why should the US keep spending X when it doesn't get that much income from taxes?

The reason why tea partiers are popular is because of the debt problem. The US is not some divine entity that can spend as much as it wants. The US is like a normal person, you can't keep borrowing what you don't have. Sooner or later, the banks will be knocking.

Also vilifying the tea party makes it look like a radical organization. Most people are moderates, not totallty on the liberal communists and not really on the republician facists. They like to be in the middle. MSM is trying to argue that these tea partiers are republician facists. Since people like to be in the middle, they tend to stay away and move in the opposite direction (i.e. democrats/obama).

    Simple

I agree, Japan should take up Europe Multiculturalism. Japan should start banning halal and voluntary burqas. Japan should also adopt the US ban on discrimination that is almost impossible to use. Damn japan for it's irrational laws. It should be more tolerance and adopt Europe and the US laws that basically does nothing.

"they might just get a fair sentence instead of being let off the hook."

Yea they will probably get more time than a murderer/rapist in the states. That's a fair setence

Also I like people here rationalize a-bombing with rape of Nanking.

So a group of soldiers go out and rape a bunch of chinese people. Instead of punishing those soldiers, let's drop 2 a-bombs on a group of civilians.

Am I missing the logic here or am I on crazy pills?

Last I checked, you should punish the criminals and not the bystanders. it's like arresting a murderer's parents and giving them life in prison for what the murderer did.

But I'm not used to this European logic, can someone fill me in here?
