Why are there 100,000+ troops in Iraq, and only a few thousand troops in Afghanistan, backed up in equal numbers by Canadian and French troops in the REAL war on terror?
I can understand why NZ or any country would want a trade deal with China, but this timing means that NZ is simply being used by China to deflect other criticism directed at the country in the global media.

I'll qualify - I don't condone illegal forms of demonstration - and physical violence and assault and/or trespassing comes under that.
However, large, visible, noisy demonstrations on a public street are perfectly fine with me, and the Olympics is a great opportunity to show this, just like cricket and rugby…
