Seriously though, what on earth do they think they accomplish when doing this? @Oracle yes it does have to do with Islam, just its more about secretarian violence. Shiites vs Sunni and vice versa. each side blames the other for lording one's perspective of Islam over the other or thinking the other side is a heretical way of belief.

There is always going to be a "number one" and "number two". I mean they keep replacing whoever was the previous #1 and #2 so there will always be a report like this about every month or so.

Some of the girls are attractive, but this is meh for me. Skintight and glitter =/= sexiness in my book. Just looks bad and gaudy in my opinion.

Sorry, but when you live in a country, no matter WHERE. You HAVE to obey their LAWS. If the law says you need to be identified by removing any obstruction covering your face, you have to take it off. I'm all for religious ideals as long as a persons religious ideals don't violate basic human rights or the law of the land (within reason). Australia has the right to do this because its Australia, not Iran, SA, Maldives, Indonesia, Turkey etc...

And again. Islam creates such fanatics so fanatical that they'll murder anyone who isn't "muslim enough" for them. They hate non-muslims, they hate muslims that aren't the same sect... In a nutshell they hate EVERYONE.

WilliB yes I'm sure all those decades before mr. obama was president wasn't exactly the same? Doesn't matter what prez is in office, its the same old thing different crew. Reagan, Bush sr, Clinton, Bush jr. now Obama, nothing new under the sun man, skip the political grandstanding bud.

Wow these folks are asking for it. See when it comes down to an anarchist state, they'll be more worried about someone looting their home than trying to expose security. If anything they should focus on hacking TSA than the CIA or any other government intelligence agency... remember that if they're found out they can "disappear". Not the wisest thing to do.

Oh, I thought the drug wars going on in with mexican drug cartels were just because Americans were the only buyers... Whoops guess some folks have to toss that idea out the window. Good to see a nice bust though, way to go UK... or maybe just legalize it so it won't be contraband and see how that works out.

Part of me can't stand cos-play and the other part of me tells me to shut up about what people want to dress up as. Anyways, I do think the Japanese do put a bit more quality into their costumes than cosplay fans in other countries. If Japan could clear up Halloween a bit more then it can have a better place besides the random "I wanna dress up as..." day or local comic convention etc. With the exception of halloween or a dress ball, I wouldn't be caught in any outfit thats out of normal dress. I prefer to cosplay as myself every day I can.

@yabits this is off topic but man who murdered Ghandi made a rather valid point. As we all know Ghandi was a great man that always made his resistance and protests peaceful. But when he prayed at a mosque in order to promote peace between all faiths, another hindi murdered him. His simple ideology was this, "If people keep sitting back being peaceful and not fighting back then another 100 will be murdered. If people keep sitting back being peaceful and not fighting back then another thousand will be murder, then a million, then a billion... until there is only one left that will not fight back because they are trying to be peaceful. They kill the final peaceful person left, then who is left to fight back?"

It would be nice if we never had to kill others to keep what bit of peace we have, but unfortunately mankind is just not that way.

Well, I'm not going to waste my time going through Brieviks rambling manifesto. Even if he's not mentally ill (which I think he's quite sane, just tossed his morality out the window thinking it would prove his so-called "point), he's made himself quite the infamous evil villian and Norway will not be inspired to have some muslim genocidal crusade. They will hopefully learn how to better protect themselves from such situations as what he's created, and become more efficient in dealing with terrorists attacks like his.

Most recent details say that the number of people killed is now down to 69-73 not the 93+. But still will take a bit before we'll find out how this turns out.

Well, I just hope justice is served, and I seriously doubt releasing him back out into society after his penalty is up is going to stop the parents and relatives of the victims from trying to kill him.

This is a new one though in this day and age, thats a fact. And in these days its quite often to hear about some Islamic terrorist organization, so pretty much I was waiting to hear who was claim responsibility until they were able to catch the culprit and release more details to the public. In this case the man was a great evil loon, but you won't see christian fundamntalists lining up to praise him for his actions. I don't know much about Norwegian law, but even if they don't have the death penalty I strongly hope they're going to keep this man locked up FOREVER.

Reminds me a bit of the most recent headline from America's finest news source, "The Onion"... hehehe An excerpt of the Headline reads as follows,

"U.S. Quietly Slips Out Of Afghanistan in Dead of Night: KABUL, AFGHANISTAN--
In what officials said was the 'only way' to move on from awhat has become a 'sad and unpleasant' situation, all 100,00 U.S. military and intelligence personnel crept out of their barracks in the dead of night Sunday, and quietly slipped out of Afghansitan. U.S. commanders explainded their sudden pull out in a short, handwritten note left behind at Bagram Airfield, their largest base of operations in the country. 'By the time you read this, we will be gone,' the note to wthe nation of Afghanistan read in part. 'We regret any pain this may cause you, but this is was something we needed to do. We couldn't go on like this forever.' "

    One can only dream.

I think in order for this to be more effective, they need a larger group of samurai with a general and banners on their backs shout "chaaaaarge" at anyone that walks in the opposite direction of the store.

Gotta love it when we get homicidal sickos in a place that your life is supposed to be saved. Thank god I study medicine, but when I'm incapacitated I can't trust what any nurse/doctor etc may decide to dump on me if they're not right in the head.

Reminds me of this one apostate from Islam (from Egypt) described how difficult it was for him to leave behind his family and many of his friends because Islam was so ingrained in his society that it was like losing an arm or leg. He said he couldn't stand in front of them and go through the motions of being muslim even though his heart wasn't in it. Many of the apostates had the same kind of description, depending on where they're from and what kind of community they've lived in. Its like leaving a cult that raised you under their roof, one becomes indoctrinated (or brainwashed) to believing its the only life there is.

From my experience, it has been some of the 3rd and 4th generation muslims that even if they're "westernised" still have extremist views as I mentioned what happened in my previous post in Michigan (also known as a "westernized" society) it wasn't a bunch of old generation codgers that were in the situation. Same as in the UK, Australia, France and more. Some of the older generations themselves are asking why the younger generations are acting like a bunch of cultists.

I can guarantee one thing, any 3rd or 4th generation "muslim" that doesn't abide by Islamic dictates, most likely is no longer a practising muslim, or is an apostate. You'd be surprised how many are either athiest, agnostic, or have joined some other faith, yet they keep up appearances of being devout just for the sake of their parents, relatives, or friends and aquaintances in a heavily religious Islamic community.
