@Madverts, I've lived with a few people who were muslim (and of course my uncle) before and it is understandable that you can only base your opinion on your experiences. But its not about them being muslim its about what kind of person they are and how they percieve their beliefs. Apparantly the person you live with (or lived with?) is a decent person, not a decent muslim. You need to make some friends with people that used to be muslim and stopped believing in Islam because of their own experiences to get a firm grasp of both sides.
Unfortunately countries with an Islamic majority populace don't have good track records with people who are not muslim, and even with other muslims due to some believing in Islam in its strict form compared to believing in Islam in a rather reformed way. Thanks to this strict interpretation of Islam it interferes with even the simplest of things such as greeting diplomats from other countries and who knows what happens when he tries to visit female leaders of other countries on their own soil.

What jeffrey said. Tesla cars need to become cheaper, but in doing so will most likely have to use cheaper materials since from what I understand the vehicles cost rises due to the "new" electric motor it uses and the carbon fiber body. When Tesla can create their vehicles at cheaper prices will be the day they really take off. Considering their vehicles are all sold out before they're even made, and only affordable by the wealthy or those that plan to save during the 5 year + waiting list until they get their own car. If Toyota can take the technology and make it cheaper (which is what we all expect) then we can finally wave goodbye to the old gas guzzler, and hopefully have more either full electric or cleaner fuel hybrid combinations.

71077345, the only reason you think its wrong is because you want to believe it. No matter how many times you tell yourself something can't be true because you don't want it to be, doesn't make your truth become real. Thats why in pharmaceuticals we work to take the beneficial medical properties of the plant and put it into a less harmful form. Science exists for a reason, and thankfully the people of CA have determined legalising marijuana in its current form will only lead to more headaches than cures.

She may no longer have her innocence as a child but she is still most certainly a child and is going to be treated as such until she grows a bit older.

10 years old is a child any way you look at it. Sexual maturity is always completely different than mental maturity. Think of it this way, does being capable of having sex automatically make a person a "man" or "woman" no matter what age they are? No it does not. Mature adults are capable of having children, and get this, capable of taking care of and RAISING said children. Adults are capable of going to work for a living to provide for their children such as feeding them, clothing, putting a roof over their head, and hopefully educating them. Also you forgot to mention this childs other option is to give the child up for adoption since she most certainly is in no position to raise it on her own with the parents she has/or had. Society did not fail her, her parents did, she came into Spain pregnant so it can't be determined if she was forcefully raped or not (although it can easily be classified as statutory by Spanish law unless the minors are within a certain age range considering their current inaction). Obviously she was not well educated in the first place, or possibly the culture she came from taught her otherwise.

Sigh, I'm so tired of this political power struggle. In an ideal election it should be 50/50 or maybe an extremely difficult mix of independents, repubs, democrats, and w/e other parties are out there. Well aside from that my voting is done and I went for whoever leans closest to my opinions on various issues.

Oyajid, bad for you many of us have read the qur'an and also bad for you that the many ex-muslims out there seem to agree that Islam is the source of the "nonsense" which supposedly is being spouted about it. What is happening here is actual persecution. Iraqi Catholics are a drop in the bucket. What about the buddists in Thailand, the hindu in India, the various tribes of people in Africa? Islam is the only relgion in this century that persecutes other religions, non-believers, or anyone deemed as "un-Islamic" (the amadayaa sect or however it is spelled ring a bell?)in their eyes. To this date Islam is also the only religion that persecutes anyone that leaves that religion. So when you can successfully confront an ex-muslim (without trying to abuse them because we know a good muslim is never supposed to question Islam) you might get somewhere with your current argument of poor and uneducated Islamic extremists.
Random news, in Iran a christian priest is set to be executed for preaching to muslims in Iran. Currently there was a stay of execution for 3 days due to international pressure. Once again, Islam persecutes others, not the other way around.

A lot of those apply to women around the world. Anyways, I've been lucky to have never experienced #4. I know how to press an opinion out of them. All about proper communication in a relationship.

@Beelzebub I think its probably due to the issue of more and more people becoming un socializing with. Back in the day when it was much easier to find good and especially considerate people to socialize with, unfortunately its grown to running into a lot of bad apples that help encourage people to wall each other out. I can't even walk down a street without hearing someone either swearing, arguing, bad-mouthing, and talking about something negative, etc. Some towns and cities you can get a good flow of generous interactive people and some places you can't.
I miss my old walkman too though, good times. But my PSP has my entire CD collection on it too and with access to internet radio I don't miss it too much.

Damien mj is hardly the main cash cow of drug cartels. It can be grown in peoples back yards and basements for chrissakes! So yeah, keep up the pro-recreational legalisation of pot to support your desire to get high.

Hard choices, between PC and fridge I went for fridge since I can easily use the local public library to get my internet, and some DL activities, but my food? I must have food, fresh food, frozen food, cold food and cold liquids to drink. My belly won out.
