Patience and lack of non-fatal equipment has caused 2 law enforcement officers to be harmed. While considering this man's "age" I wouldn't go with a taser, what about rubber bullets, or bean bag guns? They're non fatal and can sober him up real fast. There are plenty other options out there too.

Addiction is the problem no matter if the drug is legal or illegal. Alchohol, tobacco, mj, crack, meth etc. All the ones that binge all have one thing in common, they can't/won't control themselves because they don't know when to stop or when enough is enough. The only issue is how the side effects affect those around them. Drunk drivers, second hand smoke, or the results of hard drugs where people lose their sense of reality and can become extremely dangerous to those around them.

Take off Taliban members index fingers, that will make it much harder for them to fire weapons.

I'd like to recommend a really good book for these flakes. Not everyone is meant to be vegetarian and not everyone is meant to be filling up on meat either. The book is "Eat Right for your Blood type" by Dr.Peter J. D'Adamo. This would help the Omnivores vs. Vegetarian debate to die down considerably.

Definately rooting for the voters and their safety. Afghanistan needs to keep their freedom of choice to elect their leaders over taliban dictatorship.

Seems like the idiots are out full force again. This healthcare program is desperately needed by those that don't have healthcare insurance, at the same time there are aspects of it that I'd like to see dropped. I've noticed that a lot of the fear mongers... I mean protesters are eager to once again ride the old cold war/commy/USSR bandwagon of socialist agendas and yet they have nothing to offer to fix the current healthcare system woes.

Most recent ad against the program used the same old line of "higher taxes"... Not that it matters anyway since the goverment is practically running on fumes and an extremely huge credit from the last 8-16(?) years. One of the things I like about Obama's administration is they're trying to re-direct old school US thinking. The old saying goes, "If it ain't broke don't fix it..." well, the system is broke and it needs major fixing.

I've been an anime fan since I was about 13, but very few songs actually hook me well enough for me to want a CD. Currently watching "Spice and Wolf II" and the OP and ED songs are really good and fit the show really well. Same with "Kannagi" ED theme. I think there are a few intro songs from other shows like "Gin Tama" and others, but they're really not too memorable for me. Can't catch me singing the lyrics lol...

Thats an easy one Farmboy, plants always leave roots/stems behind and people that work in forensics know what signs to look for. In a national park if there is an area that is cleared out from the natural fauna to grow something else its kinda easy to spot.

Redeemed what about "any loose clothing can get snagged" have you ignored? People can drown easily that way. Sun-tan lotion and a full body suit are just as effective.

While I do support the right to bear arms, what these folks were doing is way out in left field. Carrying weapons with no clear purpose in a public area... That is a threatening situation for everyone else around them even others with legal permits to carry weapons as well as the police/military/government forces. They were so hell bent on making their point that they ignored and didn't consider in the slightest the safety of those around them. Dumb@$$es

I disagree Helter, racism is still alive and well in the US just a lot more subtle and in a smaller scale in the US thanks to our civil rights laws.

The airport was only doing their job according to their standards and the rules in place. I agree, because Khan is a foreign national not an American citizen, plus he is only a celebrity known only in India and maybe a few other nations. Can't expect the airport to know that he was famous... in INDIA. Heck, the cops even stopped a US celebrity and still had to verify his ID and run background checks to make sure he wasn't lying to them. Thems the breaks and so there was nothing racist about them pulling this guy aside.

Lmao, good one Sarge. Honestly though, this is pathetic, some US celeberties get set aside in other countries too, but we don't go freaking out about it. He was set aside for a bit, and his luggage was lost. Its not like his visa was revoked, he got in trouble with INS and was deported. Indian society needs to get real with the world, not freak out over fantasy land.

Actually, after a bit of thinking about this issue, the woman is in the wrong. Although the rules should have been more specific as to why loose fitting clothing should not be worn while swimming. The biggest issue is loose clothing helps people drown, get their clothing snagged on something, retains more water thus making the swimmer heavier to carry should a lifeguard have to rescue them. Modesty vs personal safety. Ditch the loose burqini and just use a full body swimsuit.

Agree with most posters up there. Socially accepted for dressing up as imaginary characters? The only time when its socially accepted is during special events (that ask for it), holidays (Halloween is the only holiday I know of), and jobs at a theme park or PR jobs.

I'm a bit of an otaku/gamer, but I don't have posters, little figurines, etc lining my walls. Nor do I have the underlying desire to want to dress up as anything either and go to comic/anime conventions. I'd prefer to do a little bit more with my other free time. These guys are a joke.

I think its wonderful. Most women with children feel they've completed one of the most important steps in their womanhood. Most (respectable) men feel more like they've also completed this important step when they become fathers too. For those of you in the "I feel repulsed" crowd, how many of you have children or a pregnant wife? Just out of curiousity.

They don't even know what martyrdom is. Ghandi was a martyr, Jesus was a martyr... martyrs are people that do not instigate aggression by killing or planning to harm others. They promote peace and harmony through peaceful non violent means and are persecuted for their beliefs not by aggressive actions. These crazy Talinutjobs think they can achieve martyrdom by killing others, and because they're killing others get themselves killed... something extremely wrong with that picture.

This is a pathetic news story. Its only newsworthy if the person involved is in direct operations. This woman is more of a civilian casualty than an effective military strike against key Taliban members.

LMFAO!! Dang! This story made my day xD. Another instance of "do to others as you would have them do to you." if you don't wanna be cheated on, don't cheat. Its the guys fault for not looking for women that don't want to be attached and like fooling around, they do exist. But trying to lure and screw over women looking for a relationship is not smart at all. Uncontrolled lust causes stupid situations like these to harm others emotionally.

yeesh. A woman in pants is a crime. Thats the one thing that I've always wanted to ask. If women are the cause and wickedness of temptation because a man doesn't control himself, doesn't the fault lie with the man for not showing how "virtuous" he is by not falling to temptation in the first place? If a woman is walking around in nothing but her birthday suit, why doesn't the "holy man" resist and take responsibility for his own actions. These type of religious laws and such have no rights in any society.
