If you knew the habits of little girls, you'd know why there are so many VIEWS of the video. Girls are abnormal and they will listen to a song more than once in a row. They will view a video again and again until someone else in the vicinity rips off his (or her) ears off to have a bit of relief. This really tallies up those watch counts.

It seems some people do not realize that objects at a distance become inheritantly less "3-D" looking. A soccer field at a distance will not show 3-D well by any means. Even in person, a soccer field will look flat.
I would recommend anyone complaining about substandard 3-D visuals that cause headaches and such to see "Despicable Me" in 3-D. It is how it should be done. It is clear, bright, and smooth. It looks real and certainly not hard on the eyes. That is an example of how 3-D should be.

dolphingirl: It is extremely hard for parents to know how to raise a child correctly. There is no formula to follow or step-by-step process. You only have so much control over the environment. You cannot make everyone else treat your child the way you want them to. Every individual person's temperament is different.
I never want to hear that if a "child is raised right" that there wouldn't be behavior problems. The world does not work that way.

I never knew they had these kinds of events in Paris. It may be just me, but it seems a little out of place.
I have far more disgust for those who bash random (strange, different, unfamiliar) hobbies than those who do the hobbies. They may not be your cup of tea, but no one wants to hear your negativity gushing out. It has little to do with their "mental health" and more to do with yours.

Wait... when he "helped" himself to a can of coffee... did he steal it?
And what's a can of coffee?

Yes, it certainly is already a disaster, ecologically and economically. I live over 50 miles off the shore of the gulf and I can still smell the oil...

It's rather unfortunate that when a person doesn't know kanji, it's cool. When they learn it, it loses it's magic. Due to this, people who don't know kanji are far more likely to be the ones getting them tattooed on without knowing the actual meaning.
But how hard is it to research before getting ink done?

My American mind finds nothing moralistically wrong with this. But it was against the law. The entire story is meh.

As costly as an execution is, keeping them in jail for a full life sentence is still more expensive.
Also, there's nothing wrong with executions. The way it was carried out was a little strange, but it was his legal decision and that cannot be considered wrong by any means. Modern civilization is STILL build upon lives and the loss of them. We've not somehow ascended past this point and I doubt we ever will. This is evidenced in wars, executions, and everyday crimes. This IS civilized.
While I do not believe executions will deter a few people, it sure is a deterrent to many, and I believe they should stay for those many who value life, yet sit on the thin line between holding back and a major crime.

It's a pretty nice toy. Very smooth functionality, very noticeable speed increase from iphone or ipod touch, very easy on the eyes, relatively light, and easy to use. Great for any casual computer user, especially with 3g service.
That said, I am not getting one because it does not suit my personal needs. My ipod touch is well enough for me. I have a powerful laptop that, although heavier, is far more capable, faster, less limited, bigger screen, better controls (kb and mouse), and CHEAPER.

It's true that many other countries really churn out the technology required for today's devices, but no country sells it better than the US. It's a shame, really. If only Japan could get on top of marketing their tech like the people outside the country want.

People need to learn to swim... Even as a child, I was having fun with rip currents and at any moment I knew how to rest on top of the water. It took mere minutes to teach me how rip currents work and how to get out of them whenever I wanted.
With such knowledge, there is no reason to panic and this tragedy could have been avoided.

Why would a protesting movie not be shown because of protests?! And why would this at all reflect on Japanese pride or the Japanese as a whole? What small percentage that actually use any product of this practice feel that is represents the Japanese people as a whole?
In any case, if they aren't hurting the ecology and they kill the animals with accepted humane means, then there's no problem. If they are, then I'd understand why this movie means anything. (however, I don't know if this is true or not)
Just because dolphins have been given this "majestic, beautiful creature of the sea" title from movies and shows, there should be no reason to consider them different from any other source of meat.

It's not a clown that makes kids fat. It's not food that makes kids fat.
It's the lack of moderation and the continually overbearing government that is giving children too many "rights" for their "safety" that prevents them from doing activities that they want to do and prevents parents from making them.
