I would also imagine her wearing the crocs. What has she done to her self? She looks uncomfortable with her plastic surgery job.

She looks fine and happy to me. Don't be jealous.

This could be romantic and morbid at the same time, but I think it was nice that they got to die in each others arms (IMO). May they RIP.

nandakandamanda-good post. I can not say for sure what happened, but with the story so full of holes, I can not blame the father 100%. As you sow, so shall you reap, so they say.

inkarob-You are assuming a lot with so little evidence. You could be right and you could be wrong. I am saying, keep an objective mind to it.

Also, I come from a home like this. All the kids were beat, not hit and no, we have not brought this onto our spouses, kids or pets. I will say I have some anger issues, but growing up with a loving family and knowing what my father did was wrong helped me grow up as well as my siblings. There is a think called forgiveness and learning through others mistakes. I can say when I was this kids age, I wish my father went away, but I did not wish him dead. Again, his situation and my situation may be totally different but continuing cycles happen only if you let them.

As per my saying you steal part, look at your technology post.

I think its a case of some one who normaly can't defend themsevles, being clever enough to find a way to fight back, but to young to realize the consiquenses. so bascily it falls back on the parents in every aspect if you ask me. you can watch 25 hours of TV a day as long as your parents raise you to tell the differnce between right and wrong and real and fake. If you have a dad thats beats you and doesnt teach you baisc morals and that death is real and final, then it seems to me its 100% dads fault.

Your parents teach you to steal too? Anyway, the first son sure did not seem to turn out bad. I will assume the father hit the elder one also, yet the retaliation was not there. Maybe the kid was overly sensitive and needed more attention. To say this was 100% the dad's fault is ridiculous. There were enough people in the home to either stop the father if he was beating the snot out of the kid or to help the kid cope with whatever his problems were. Did the mother just stand by while dad was beating the son? or was the elder son just observing also? Too many holes in the story just to blame the father.

Very welcoming move. It's about time the Okinawans suffering end! It would be even better if the Japan mainland gets its turn to have accommodate US bases.

    Ummm, they do.

Okinawa is the only place where Japanese people can speak a smattering of English. Now they won't even have that.

that was sarcastic right? At least the English was crappy where I was at. It is not that bad where I am at in Japan. Hell, almost all the Izakayas and shops have English menus here.

Not a lot of details, but I hope the other girl recovers. Glad to hear, supposedly, that the driver did not drive off and stayed.

Youre very kind, Swiss Toni is very comfortable being of age. It just keeps getting better and longer. Inappropriate use of funds from the business dont do any harm either.

As long as stealing helps you get your rocks off, go for it. No wonder you can afford what you were talking about.

    @cleo-In this diagram :http://www.miraikan.go.jp/english/statistics/workingwoman_10.html

does it state if the women are married, single or divorced? Just asking, that way I can see how your argument stands. Though I do like you last statement. Believe me, I have to put my share of work into the house.

That being said, where I do live in Kanagawa, almost all of the women are stay at home wives and they do not have part time jobs. Some have children, some do not. Most seem irritated that their husbands are home earlier and I can understand that if they are not pitching in. I only know of one woman who does have a part time job but her husband works on base and he is home relatively early compared to the other males that live on my street. So I do have to agree with Paddy and tkoind on some of this, just cause I see it everyday.

Good on the girl to catch this bastard. Glad she stood up and took him in.

I am a bit suprised he did not try to run or fight her off. The way the article is written, it sounds like he wanted to brag.

This is just sad. Not sure if her parent's did not understand that she was trying to reach out to them. Did her husband not see any signs? But to kill your own son...I do not know why she could not give him to someone or asked for help better. RIP little one.

I think the word you're looking for is grieve rather than bereave.....

**Verb 1. bereave - deprive through death

(I think they were going with this definition)

I get what you are saying but they could of used bereave if they were trying to imply that the family was deprived of the truth because of her death...but the way it is used in this sentence, grieve would be a better choice.
