smithinjapan- I do not justify what he did, I said I can understand. What part do you not understand? Understanding something and me saying he had every right to hit her are two different things. did I say in my first post that he had every right to hit her? no. Did I say she probably deserved it because what she might or might not have said? I said so, just like other people have, but that did not justify it. Justifying it would have been, yeah she should have been hit for just opening her mouth. Who does she think she is. Did I say that? Nope. :)

Anyone who takes what I said this seriously is sad. This type of thinking is from how far back? I can understand for wanting to hit a person, but I do not condone it. I rather get you in the wallet than hit you. That is just the way I would do it. Will this lady get a big pay day? Doubt it, but she will get some money.
Again, I was not there for what she said. I bet all of you speak out of turn or have said something to someone that in turn deserved someone to jump down your throat or vice versa. Because you are all human, we have all made that mistake. Now, because some of you need manuals on how it is to be human or act on emotion, we forget how it was to be young and stupid. Does not matter if the kid was a rich brat or not, he acted out. Does he deserve the "death sentence" that you all are branding him with? No. (And do not take death sentence literally.)

You guys are funny. Of course violence is the only way to solve everything. Remember, when words fail, only action remains. To solve with fists is to be human. Survival of the fittest.
I again, in no way say it is ok to just hit someone over talking. I again, have no idea what was said and how the events transpired. Again, some people forget how it is to be human and things happen.

smithinjapan-I guess you get sick all the time.
I also guess you have never wanted to hit someone. Sorry I am not an angel like you. I guess you also have never come across someone that has come at you wrong or said something you did not like, whether you were in the wrong or not and there is no way you could be wrong. I don't know what was said, but to get the reaction she got, I am assuming it was not nice. But I digress, I was not there to hear her, were you? Nope.
Perception is reality and the way that guy perceived it, well he gave his reaction. For the most part, JNs leave each other alone, leave us alone and just mind their own business. Yeah, they should speak out more, but they don't. I also in no way justify what this guy did, but I sure the hell can understand it. And sorry to the old people who took offense, cause you are only as old as you feel. So I guess some of you are a bit too conscientious about your age.

Not sure if this has happened to anyone, but if your Wii breaks, make sure to pay to get it fixed. Do not just buy another one. The DL content on it will not transfer over like it does with a 360 or PS3. None of the saves or anything and unless you are real tech sauve, it is not that expensive.

Stop hating on the gamers! lol. Damn, not sure what this guy is thinking, but I bet that old lady was asking for it too. He deserves to get hit the same, but some of these old people are off the chain.

combini-I get what you are trying to say, but you have to remember, this is an article in JT. Not all the facts are out and we are not sure if there was a history of DV in this relationship. Again, the norm has been, with the unemployed Japanese male anyway, is murder or suicide. This guy may have been a part-time employee, but we do not know if he was on his way out the door or if he was moving up, which I am sure everyone doubts. Being a foreigner, we all have different perspectives, but high stressed unemployed Japanese males have been off the chain lately.

timeon-For the most part, I am pretty sure everyone is with you on that. So no, it just is not you, no matter what part of Japan you are in.
My wife used to do all that stuff by herself for a long time. I had to get her out of it and now we do almost everything together. Hell, she is one of the top rated players on Gears of War 2 in Japan for females...not that there is a long list. lol.
But for the most part, she does have Best Friends (BF) but really does not keep in contact with them nor they with her. Not sure how many people have that? I KIT with mine back in Fl, but even being this close, she rather not go see them or whatever. I don't really get it, but as long as she is happy, I am good.

Man and woman do it alike here, men are just more prominent here. They can not take life so they take another so someone will take their lives for them. Even if we take away the death penalty, the suicide rate would just climb or some other statistic.

smithinjapan-I was referring to the last inning where Ichiro worked and mecchasuki posted it best. I believe he is full of himself, but a very talented player none the less. I don't like Kid or Masato either, but I respect their skill.

imacat, your points are moot. When you get on the field and you are getting paid millions, let me know.
northlondon can sport his loser colors whenever he wants. Thats what losers do.
US got 3rd or 4th respectively. Nothing wrong with that. Plaqued with injuries and some players who did not want to risk their careers. I have no problem with that. Why do you guys? We got a lot of other team sports and single sports to watch.
Japan played a great game and if you are watching the news, you can see Korea being bad sports now. They are claiming how the Japanese were bad sports. There were numerous bad calls and they went both ways. Happens in sports all the time, never going to end, get over it. Koreans played great, but Ichiro pulled it off when it counted. End of story.

Yeah, I know he left due to injury, but they have a limit of players and he got substituted. He was also on the news tonight, but they did not mention anything about it. I liked how one of the players held up his jersey throughout the game.
