    Yes, obama is only half black, but being labeled as black regardless of his mixed heritage has more to do to what society as a whole would see him as. Honestly, if he wasnt the President of the United states and you saw him on the street as an average joe, I can assure you that 90% of people who came in contact with him would just assume that he was Black.

    By the way, I actually find this kinda funny. I am not gonna deny the possible racial overtones that exist, but it is funny nonetheless.

    Man, one more thing to piss off the right winged extremists. I for one don't really give a hoot about gays getting married or not. Gay marriage legalized, fine, whatever. Gay marriage not legalized, no skin off of my nose. If you disagree with this, it is your right as an american to voice your opinion. However, as the old saying goes, if you don't like it, then get the hell out. Just don't live in Iowa. There are plenty of other places that are hard pressed to pass this type of judgement. cough the south cough I am from the south and I know first hand that a law like this isn't likely to be passed there.

    Wow, and I thought only the Liberals on the far left hailed obama as some sort of messiah. I see that many conservatives here view him as such as well. I mean, he'd have to be in order to reverse 20 years of bad American policies and trends in a few months. rolls eyes That was obviously sarcasm.

    I still say give him time. The fact that people are already trying to crucify the guy just further highlights the fact that people placed to much expectation on him. I admit though, this bill should have been created in the white house far away from Sith Lord Pelosi.

    Oh man!! Rosario Dawson! MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! Did you guys see her in Alexander? The only reason I watched that movie, I swear. I really want to see another MIB or Bad Boys movie. Over the top action and hilarious antics. I personally don't believe that he is over rated. I have been watching the guy since The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

    Damn, this feels like the 17th century all over again. I gotta say, with all the modern technology that we have, I am impressed at the Pirate's efforts. I don't condone what they do, but I am impressed nonetheless.

    Ok, I think Daschel made an honest mistake. At least he rectified it in an appropriate and brisk manner without someone having to tell him cough Geithner cough. I myself made a mistake on my tax return before and it took two years before anyone told me anything. You would be surprised at how easy it is to mess up.

    As for calling Obama the Worst president in history, can we at least give the guy a few months in office? Heck, the left didn't start crucifying Bush until his little incident after the Towers were hit in 2001. Besides, have any of you ever checked out the presidential list? There are some pretty sad guys on there that didn't even do anything in their first 2 years, let alone the first hundred days. All Andrew Johnson did was manage to set the record for the amount of times he vetoed something and then was overturned. On top of that, he only escaped impeachment by 1 vote.

    This was one of the best super bowl games I have seen in a while. I am glad the steelers won, but I wouldn't have been upset if the Cardinals won it. They fought pretty hard and managed to silence a lot of those naysayers. I have always been pretty partial to Kurt Warner since his days as a Ram. The speed on Fitzgerald is insane. I told someone if he managed to get loose, he would be unstoppable. Anyway, congrats to the Steelers and Mike Tomlin for being the youngest coach to ever win a Super Bowl.

    And demanding an Apology is one thing, but Taunting the US president because he wants to talk to you instead of blowing you away is another thing entirely. If talks with Iran don't work, then I say we take the George Bush method of doing things and blow them away. What do you got to lose?

    First off, I will commend Obama for at least trying to reach across the isle. It is far more than Bush and the Republican dominated congress did over the last 8 years. Secondly, what most of you seem to be forgetting is that this bill was drafted by democrats in the house and not by Obama himself. He put his stamp of approval on it, but it is not really his baby. Secondly, even though he is currently the most powerful man on the earth, he can't just edit this thing all willy nilly like. Some of you guys seem to overlook two big obstacles...Pelosi and Reid. Mark my words, they and all of there far left friends will prove to be much more of a thorn in Obama's side than anything from the Repubs. If he doesn't play ball, they will freeze him out. It will be the Andrew Johnson Admin. all over again.
