I still don't see what the problem is putting them in a Federal prison. Given the way American prisons are, there chances of coming out alive are 50/50 at best. I guess the problem is where would they go after there term is up? Sending them back to their country after being in a US prison would probably not be such a good idea. If they do manage to survive, then they would be coming out bigger, stronger, smarter, and more violent than when they went in.

I don't know, pretty perplexing if you ask me. But this is why I am in Chemistry and not Politics or Human studies.

Ah, the fickleness of man. I wonder how many people will be quick to embrace him as brother if he should be a worse president than Bush(I really doubt this, but the possibility does exist. No one can be worse than James Buchanan however). Only time will tell.

I say send them to an American Prison. I am sure they will get a "warm" welcome from some of our incarcerated countrymen.

I'll second that. The economy. As soon as that problem is on the road to recovery, everything else will fall in place. But like I said before, I don't envy Mr.Obama in the slightest.

Man, I agree with that 73 year old woman. I feel sorry for Mr. Obama. This is one helluva problem he is gonna have to deal with. The last president to have this much stuff on his plate was FDR, and it took him damn near 4 terms to get things on the right track. Speaking of FDR, what a lot of people fail to understand is that he didn't stop the depression...he only kept it from getting worse and implemented safeguards so something like that wouldn't happen again.

Again, I don't envy the work that the incoming president has cut out for him. But, with all things, there will be nay sayers and critics. Luckily though, most of us live in a place where criticism is dealt with with counter-criticism instead of death.

Wow. The father survived. You see, had the kid gone to school and payed attention in anatomy class the attack would have been a success. Alas, he did not. I wonder what is gonna happen to the boy now. What do they do with these kids after such an event.

Well put. Unfortunately, this type of mud slinging and hope for the other side to do bad is not uncommon for either side. I just hope that some amount of jobs come out of this so we can at least keep the recession from getting worse. After all, FDR didn't get us out of the depression in the 30s, he just kept it from getting worse. Hopefully, however, what got the US out of the first depression won't be the solution for this one. While the problems are similar, they are in no way identical.

Why does this reality feel like something out of a Tom Clancy novel. Seriously, this little event has the potential to blow up into something major.

Ok, Given that no one was killed during this fiasco...I think this is kinda funny that someone would go this far over some crap like this. Funny and sad to tell the truth.

Lets just hope that China doesn't screw up like India did and blow a Pirate Mothership out of the water only to find out weeks later that it was an innocent merchant ship caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"I feel so sad that a "human" could do this."

Hate to break it to you guy, but ONLY a human is capable of something like this. I am not at all surprised that something like this happened at this time of the year. The really sick ones "save themselves for last" so to speak.
"The leftists hit paydirt on this story - they get to trash guns and Santa."

Lets not make this political. I am sure neither side would take pleasure in hearing something like this. However, I am certain that someone will try to use the deaths of these people to promote some sort of political agenda.
