Also possible, but just as unlikely. Stuff happens. Its worthy of a reprimand like I said. But conspiracies don't just happen. These cops should get nailed hard for that.

Or maybe you need to learn how to write? You said:
I only ran the two ideas together because you did. It sounds like you are saying that she finally realized how gross they are. Not my fault you don't know when to start a new paragraph!
You are welcome to post your opinion. But if your opinion is disgusting, expect to get called on it. There are good reasons why one might be against a couple like this, but personal disgust at appearance or even age is not very compimentary the generator of the opinion.
That would be a good reason to support her decision. Its just too bad you did not say that sooner.

I would say the group with the moral compass off by that much are the people hounding Weiner. What has a porn star ever done to you?

Something really sinister is going on here. And the only name I can attach to it is Andrew Breitbart.
That is a quote from the article.
From the start this whole thing has been very fishy. Not the truth about what Weiner did mind you, but the facts of how this is all getting out. No one is pressing legal charges over what Weiner did. So how are these women's names known? And now one is threatened?
This woman asked Weiner what she should do. He suggested lying. I have no problem with that. She asked for an opinion, she got one. Weiner has every right to lie to cover up his private correspondence, and he has every right to suggest lying to someone who asks. But how did her name come up at all? Who threatened her? Why is this non-news old story being kept alive?
I suspect Breitbart, a man who has already blackmailed and threatened Weiner, is behind it, sneaking around behind the scenes and over the internet. As ever, I think the real story is the malicious smear campaign. As far as the sex scandal goes, its so ridiculously mundane. There was not even any sex!

Novenchama, I seriously doubt they called it off because YOU find them gross. Frankly, I cannot imagine anything about this much more disgusting than your comment on the couple and the complete self-absorbtionand audacity it took to post it. Who you would date and why is just fine for you. Please learn to respect the choices of others, because they are not you.
I wish them the best and hope they find a solution agreeable to both, whether its to marry or not.

Left his gun in the toilet stall? Worthy of a reprimand. But if you think that is not enough, you must have a paranoid delusion that some murderous nut would stumble on it. Very, very unlikely. We want cops to be careful, but they are only human. This is going to happen sometimes.
However, the conspiracy to cover up the fact? The four officers involved ought to be doing jail time and looking for new jobs when they get out! Getting away with something like that is a gateway drug to corruption!

I am not sure what part of the word "accident" makes it someone elses fault. Is English not your first language?
I guess you can't just a little more specific like I asked? Man, if you don't know, man up please!
Kind of does not explain the lack of ethics charges does it?

Anybody could get blackmailed over a sexual matter just for having a sex life.
But there is a blackmailer here and his name is Andrew Breitbart. I have been trying to figure out how he got the original pictures. While it does seem that other pictures were sent to him by women who received them (correct me if I am wrong) it seems the very first picture, the PG one, was the result of Weiner accidentally tweeting the wrong picture. And it seems that only one person even got the tweet, some loon who is obsessed with the Weiners, and he sent it to Breitbart. Then Breitbart ran with it from there and managed to get more pictures and information by needling the whole thing and Weiner too.
About the only thing I have learned from this episode is that Breitbart is a dangerous and evil person. He subverts democracy the same as Karl Rove and J. Edgar Hoover. He should be in jail for blackmail and harrassment.

Republicans tend to have no soul. Democrats tend to have no spine, and Obama's declaration backs that up.
It seems that Weiner has both a soul and a spine. So he I hope he keeps fighting this nonsensical unimportant side issue, or perhaps I should say side-show?
I wonder, if Michelle Obama had suggestive pictures of Barak, and they split up in a bitter divorce and Andy Breitbart bought and released the pictures, would Barak drop out of politics? By this statement, I suppose he would cave in. Not a good message. Would not be surprised if some Obama haters are not desperately searching for something sexual about Obama right now!

I can't believe you keep trotting out the same old lies! Of course the 17 year old did not sell any pics, because she did not receive any! You have been told. Are you just hoping the lie will stick or what?
Another lie! There were no girls! Women only!
Same lie again! There were no high schools getting lewd pics. Okay? Please make a post-it note and stick on your computer screen!
As for what the Democrats would do if it were a CEO, I seriously doubt that. Do you mean Congressional Democrats or the rank and file Democrat? Maybe you could give as an example of it happening before, or similar?
Which would hardly make it right in that case or any. Right is right. Just because it happens does not make it right.

Untrue. He did not sext her. And one girl cannot be "girls" either. But I think you know all this. Its a shame you cannot be confident enough about your positions to just be honest, you know?
Why shouldn't they? Its recent political history that we can learn from. Besides, she was making presidential race noises. Surely her government e-mails are more important than lingering doubts over Obama's birth certificate.

You would do better to assume I am moderate about all things, because I am. Just because I am less constrained than you does not mean I have no constraints.
Another key flaw in your proposal is that you ask my permission, but completely over-look hers. No woman is my property to control from having other men nor into having other men. I do however have rules required to be followed if a woman is dating with me. Other men can be tolerated so long as I am satisfied about certain things, and no, a gang of your homies sounds quite beyond my limits. It sounds risky and bound to get out of control. A double dating situation can be controlled however. In no way does 2 equal 5.

Well, if he is telling the truth, that is just one more reason why you make darned sure your date gets home okay.
But I doubt he is telling the truth.
There is no question that murderers deserve death, but that does not change the fact that killing is wrong. Life in prison will do that job that is required just fine. It will punish him, it will prevent a next time, and it will serve as a warning to others. Killing him might do that too, but it also sends the dubious message that sometimes killing is right, even outside of immediate self defense. Well, it isn't.

Spidey is right. I thought the article indicated she had a green light. She might well have been hobbling through a red, at dark or near dark, in dark clothing stooped over and all that. But they will put full blame on the driver anyway for not having the infra-red vision of a D&D elf! Is it any surprise they don't stick around just to be made an example of for something that may well not be their fault? The whole point seems to be to instill fear in the drivers in Japan, not to give the people in the accident justice.

Molenir, I did not say growing crops was the problem, did I? I said the chemicals most farmers use but organic farmers don't, are destroying the ecosystem. Please, the post was not long or complicated.
Boy, I have tried and I can't find anything. Everyone says cook the food to prevent an e.coli infection. Nothing about ingesting the toxin being a problem. But surely having an e.coli infection in your intestines, releasing those toxins there, will make you sick.

I have lived long enough to know better than to believe the hype until its right in front of my face. Surely the efficiency of solar panels will improve, but skyrocket? That is the word of a salesman and not a scientist. Look how long it took Edison to make the incandescent light bulb good enough for daily use. Massive amounts of trial and error just like everybody else. And that was a far cry from solar panels. Anyone promising a skyrocket in solar panel efficiency that has not actually been successfully demonstrated is a snake oil salesman.
