Superlib, But what started this conflict was Hamas rockets (the pin), right?
I admit that news channels in recent days has let a few moments of decency slip by (Rosemary Church, Amanpour), probably because they want to keep at least some credibility in this conflict. But where has the media been for the past decades, while the heavy dude was sitting on the guy. The Palestinian situation never received decent coverage. Even today, we still get c-nts like Jim Clancy defending Israel, constantly whining about how the Israelis have suffered so much.

A better question is why doesn't anyone ever try to get the heavy dude off the guy?
Moderator: No more on this analogy please.

There is no reason why the Palestinians should accept anything less.
Its sad that the world has remained silent so long.

This is one more oops, in their very long list of oops. I am surprised anyone still takes them seriously.

Unfortunately, friends of the heavy dude control the news, so most people only hear about you sticking a pin... (or about a pin-sticking extremist breaking his own jaw).

Of course. This is a one-sided conflict. The Palestinians are the victims and the Israelis are the aggressors. This is not just 2 groups who can't get along. Wake up!

For your information, the Palestinians (and Hamas) are Semites. The great majority of Israelis are not Semites.
The US (and others) sell weapons to Israel knowing full well what they will use them for. The US also provides vetos against UNSC resolutions, and they provide the generous financial incentives to encourage Jews from all over the world to settle in Palestine (AKA Israel).

Since Israel always ignores ceasefires anyway, why bother? Hamas also wants the illegal blockade to stop, which Israel wants to keep in place.

What? You don't believe it, or is it because its too obvious?

Sabiwabi,
I had read that a few times before, a long time ago, but I don't remember where. Do you have a link or something I could read up on, to confirm and learn the details.

Your probably right if you are referring only to this month's attack. But this genocide is at least 6 decades long, of israelis murdering, displacing, abusing, imprisoning the Palestinians. This is genocide, no doubt about it.

We often hear of Israel's right to exist, which is something that can certainly be debated. However, no nation has the obligation to exist. And my feeling now is that Israel does not deserve to exist. If we look at Israel's history, we can find many other events to further support this view. I am just fed up with these people, and with all those who support them.

Hello sayonarahello! Good points; obvious yet usually overlooked. Many say that it is perfectly normal for Israel not to tolerate rockets fired by Hamas, and yet the Palestinians are expected to tolerate decades of Israel terrorism, land theft, murder, blockades, and being confined in overcrowded refugee camps.
Recent images are indeed sickening. I now better understand the mindset of Israel's supporters, truly sick people.

It sickens me when people comment as if this was a war between two nations. This is a slow torture, abuse, and death of concentration camp inmates. And it sickens me when people try to defend it. Truly sick!

Israel doesn't need to wait for her citizens to die before making a move because the move Israel should have made if her leaders were normal human beings was to treat Palestinians like human beings. Palestinians don't fire rockets because of some hatred for Jews?

It sure is genocide, by any definition.
As usual, Israel will deny or make excuses for their actions. Many times, their excuses have turned out to be complete lies. Their plan is genocide, they started this genocide plan over 60 years ago, this latest attack is simply the next step. When will the world wake up?
Hamas does not celebrate the deaths.

That's right vor. I will never support genocide, even when it is dressed up to look like self defense. Take away the lipstick, and you'll see the genocide. And the scary thing is, Israel has been getting away with it for decades. I'm sorry genocide of the Palestinian people bores you, it saddens and angers most normal people.

Seek legal channels? What are you talking about? Israel ignores countless UN resolutions, more than any other state.
And Israel has always done exactly that, firing weapons indiscriminately in order to provoke the Palestinians into responding. They claim they are targeting militants, but that is all BS. Most of the victims in this and past attacks by the Israelis have been civilians. Israel is committing genocide, there is not enough lipstick in the world to make Israel look good here.
