Welcome to Tokyo - one of the cushiest cities in the world for an ambassador. Be sure to enjoy the fine sushi, wagyu and sake. Be discreet with the ladies and have a good time over the next few years. Just remember to take care with any royal family members playing squash in your embassy.

I
ve never really had time for the tall stringbean forwards in football. The poor guys seem to be whacked up front whilst their teammates are ordered to lob in cross after cross. Its a kind of narrow-focused "hope for the best" strategy employed by managers with a lack of imagination. They cant always get on the end of a cross so then, when the ball hits the deck, theyre usually found wanting. However, given the Japanese tendency to avoid attacking from the centre (if at all), he might have some success here.Posted in: Australia striker Kennedy moves to J-League

I
m with dishdash. The three that I liked have grown into women who should be rolemodels for Japanese girls. Eriko and Hiroko make thoughtful, mature comments in the press from time to time. Takako doesnt need to say anything. As the most beautiful woman in Japan she just needs to turn up.I never cared for the hip-hop dancer (a kind of Sporty Spice member). I didn`t need to see her teeth either. One look at her from afar decided it for me.

A World Cup held in Italy sounds interesting, but if the IRB are serious about promoting the game then it has to be held in Japan.
I`d like to see the games held at the purpose-build soccer stadiums rather than at the National Stadium. The game is so much better with the fans sitting as close to the touchline as possible. I can easily imagine a ground like Saitama Stadium generating the atmosphere worthy of the occasion.

Some people like women with hour-glass figures. Others dig women with the ol

With the promise of these digital broadcasts coming in I was starting to feel the effects of futureshock. I was beginning to fear the TV because of the little analogue message in the top corner. I even tried to escape back into the 90
s by restricting myself to my SP1 and MD player. However, with this created-at-short-notice deer character leading me into the next decade, Im starting to feel a lot more relaxed about the changes taking place.Posted in: Deer character unveiled as Kusanagi’s successor for digital TV commercials

Great stuff Japan. A well deserved win. Perhaps now, with Japan triumphing twice in as many tournaments, the Americans will be prompted to take the tournament more seriously. Hopefully next time we can have more opportunity to see more fixtures between Asian and Latin American teams.
