All any can really remember about this game was the rumours that started to come out of the NZ camp a day BEFORE the final about how sick everyone was.. eventually the rumours of severe food-poisoning were confirmed.
having to watch Craig Dowd assisted off the field white as a ghost from fluid depletion! who can forget Jeff Wilson puking his ring out on the side line.
I'd never go as far to say (as some people implied) that the poisoning was deliberate... but there is no doubt that the ABs faded towards the end of a game they surely should have won by 20 points.
I'll not be watching this movie.

perhaps if the disgrace that is the Japanese family court had allowed the father to have custody, or more more say and involvement in the raising of HIS chuildren... this appalling tragedy would have been averted.

I completely agree with my brother muslims.
As a committed member of the 'Church of the flying spaghetti Monster' ... a 'Pastafarian' if you will... I am sick of people telling me that my invisble, untouchable, inaudible, unknowable, deity is just a made-up story. That really hurts me and members of my faith.

the correct answer is no.
As head of US Republic Obama and the titular head of the japanese state, the emperor, are of equal status and hence bowing is not required.
If Obama did choose to use the local custom - then the emperor and he would bow to an equal level.
In protocol they are at the same level - in reality Obama is significantly more powerful.
Still bowing low is a nice gesture and one that surely was used to please the (ludicrously) far-right here. Unfortunately it will just enrage (the now unhinged) far-right in the US (can't wait for the next Hanity comedy..will he cry?)
My OWN OPINION is that he should not have bowed so low... it is kind of weird. He is the head of state for the world's only superpower and unofficial 'leader of the free world'. He shouldn't be scrapping to the disfucntional monarchy of nippon.
Perhaps he just doesn't bow very well... we foreigners don't generally do a good job of it...much like when the locals try their best to do a proper handshake... they just don't get it right? Much like our bowing...
