He did not say what the officers’ motive may have been.

Stupidity is tops on my list. Dumbasses with too much time on their hands and not enough time doing their jobs.

LoveUSA at 11:22 AM JST - 30th July the responsibility of every woman is to clean society of dishonourable pervert men like this one. So every woman shall try and catch perverts and give them to police.

Ah, yeah, so your saying that all women need to be more like Cagney & Lacey? Hell, if that ever happened Homo sapiens would die out as a species.LOL

How about just accepting the fact that there are some folks that need help out there. Then we just leave it to the cops to catch the perps.

    But, I could be wrong, I am a man......LOL

LoveUSA at 11:22 AM JST - 30th JulyBut if policemen are pervert themselves whom we can turn to for protection?

Honest Police officers who are not pervs? Again, I am a man and I maybe wrong....My wife always tells me I am wrong.....But darn it I can install light bulbs! HAHAHAHAHA I rule!

LoveUSA at 11:22 AM JST - 30th July I need to know the name of serious policemen who will not abuse their position and target innocent women.

Ah, most officers will do their duty and protect the people. It is just that few that do wrong and hurt the people. So I am pretty sure you will be okay....Unless.......ah, forget that last...

I am pretty sure you are safe....Really.....

Wait wait, I know the answer.....They will find her not not guilty.

She will be found guilty and sentence to whatever form of Chinese approved torture that is allowed these days. Unless they just take her out back and shot her.

This was a sham and that is all anyone can say about that. Too bad.....

If you become a public figure you are just that, a public figure. I do not know about you, but I want to know as much as I can about the politicians running for office.

How many politicians would rather gag the news outlets and fly under the radar. I would say, just about everyone of them. If every body that had negative press acted like Palin and quit we would have no more Politicians. But as we can see most of them are not quitters.

sailwind at 10:37 AM JST - 29th July E. My last post..........You must not have read it Joe.

But all your post said was what she said, that is it. You did not answer why she said what she said. You just posted the parts of the speech that mean very little.

“Democracy depends on you, and that is why -- that’s why our troops are willing to die for you. So how about in honor of the American soldier, you quit makin’ things up.”

So, how 'bout in honor of the American soldier, ya quite makin' things up.

Word games are so much fun are they not. You know if you change the word "News" with the word "Media" it makes you seem like a victim of Hollywood.

We all know what she meant to say and it was very obvious how she used our troops in that speech. She wants the news to leave her alone and is trying to wrap her woes with the blood of our troops.

But, what she seems to have forgotten is that the news is not there to look away. The news is there to find out things about people. If those people do something wrong then the news tells the people about it.

Isn't it nice when the news loves you? Isn't the news so much better when they do not look into your affairs and catch you doing something wrong?

Wouldn't it be a better place if the news just left politicians all alone. Hell, if it wasn't for that evil news types Nixon would have finished his second term.

Those evil evil news types and their useless digging. Why do we need them, they should just leave all politicians alone and let them say what ever they want and to hell with facts.

Who needs facts and proof and making sure the truth comes out. To hell with the truth, the truth is so over rated...LOL

A far right wingers dream, no more news outlets.....

TokyoJake at 06:55 AM JST - 29th July The streets are very clean! Subways in Japan are clean as well. It seems that people in Japan go the extra mile to throw their garbage away, and they even have baggies to put their cigarrette butts in. Another reason why Japan amazes me so much!

Well said, compared to the United States Japan is very clean. The people are not rude and when you go shopping you are treated outstanding.

    I love the following comments;

LoveUSA at 08:01 AM JST - 28th July It is so humiliating to put your kid on a leash. sad.

Pssst I do not think the Baby knows what humiliating is yet. Love the Psychobabble.

LoveUSA at 09:21 AM JST - 28th July Taka 313, criminals should be only on a leash. Not kids or any normal person. What is next, handcuffs and a whip? Hoewever active the boy is, nobody deserves that.

Trying to make a point at whatever price is not right. Those leashes really do work and they are nothing new. Saw many parents using them in the States and no one was yelling bloody murder.

But when a person from another country uses them, then it is wrong?

LoveUSA at 05:30 PM JST - 28th July The first time I saw a child on a leash was on an international flight and guess what, the mother was Japanese and was walking her kid down the aisle on a leash. All the people on the plane watched in disbelief. So I think it is not so popular, if so many people were shocked.

Where do you live? I have seen those leashes in Charleston SC, NY NY, Miami FL, Jacksonville FL, Chicago IL, Mecca WI and just about every other place that I lived or traveled to in the States. Hell the first time I saw one of those was about 1988. They are not new and they are not just used by the Japanese.

Every where that I went not one person near or next to the parent gave it a second look. Some laughed other thought it was cute. Even heard many mothers asking where they can buy the leash at.

I think that Japanese parents are very good and loving parents overall. They treat most of their kids with respect and kindness.

Compare that to the States and you would be surprised to find that the Japanese kids are treated better than the American kids.

    Ah yes the Governor as stepped down but as she was steping down she tells the media;

And she told the media: “How about, in honor of the American soldier, you quit makin’ things up?”

That was one of the oddest things she has said in a long while.

    A. Was she saying that the media lies about our troops?

    B. Was she saying that if the media honors our troops they would stop making things up about her?

    c. She was just winging it and threw out the first thing that came to mind?

    D. All of the above and none of the above.

I was hoping that she would go into detail about how the media has been telling lies about our troops. Or the the heck that meant but of course she did not.

“Oh what a tangled web we weave, When first we practice to deceive” Sir Walter Scott

Again I ask our dear far right wingers here,"WHAT NOW?"

Who do you follow? What is the Republican party? Where are you guys headed, where is your direction?

    What now?

Do you continue to support people who can not keep a promise? Or do you change your party to something better?

    What Now?

I just love the small snipes people take never really defending their positions.

If you believe that Israel is correct please make some sort of statement with facts same goes for those against Israel.

thepro at 11:06 AM JST - 28th July The world won't miss Iran

Why? They have a long and rich history with great gifts to our world. Why would they not be missed?

    http://www.iranchamber.com/history/articles/ancientmedicinemesopotamia_iran.php

The_True at 01:06 PM JST - 28th July The world won't miss Israel

Why? Just saying that makes no sense same as thepro making his.....More insight and less nothing would be great.

HonestDictator at 12:39 PM JST - 28th July biglittleman hasn't really checked up about history.

Actually he did very good and actually he gave more substance to his stance than you did.

Now can you tell us why you think he is wrong?

Many of the arguments here were really good, but whenever anyone says Israel and Iran in the same breath, well folks just lose it.

Come on more meat would be good in this argument.....

Israel says it will do anything to stop Iran from getting nuclear bomb

Good to hear all the happy happy joy joy peaceful speeches coming from Israel.

But Israel may have forgotten something, this is not the 1980's and before. Missile technology has changed. Also warning an enemy that your going to attack if they build something you already have is a no no.

Why advertise what your going to do unless you will not do it.

If Israel launches it's nukes in an attempt to end Iran's nuke program. I do not think the United States could be able to save Israel from what would be coming.

Okay, here is a question for our dear far right wing friends here.

    What now?

Now that another of your leaders has either been run off or has just run off. What does your party do now?

Who do you turn too now?

    1. Jeb Bush, only problem with him is he is a Bush.....

    2. Charlie Crist interesting choice

    3. Sarah Palin many hope she will run (me I would love to see that), but who knows she may quit, again...LOL

    4. Mike Huckabee, he has everything republicans love too bad the rest of the country does not like him.

    5. Mitt Romney, some republicans say he is tooooo liberal.

    6. None of the above, still looking?

    7. Glen Beck, he is the right kind of wing nut that any tin cap wearing flake would looooove.

sailwind at 10:38 PM JST - 27th July Joe Now that was some post. I was in awe at the points you made. A most awesome display of liberal tolerance and thought. You are to be commended Sir!

Why thank you sir, I always strive only for the best.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZ, huh,ZZZZZZZZZ, what, what? I was sleeping....What do you say? Oh, it's over? Oh thank the ancient gods. I thought the far right media was going to try and deify her whit all their rantings of how a good leader she is for quitting 2 years into her first term.....LOL

I am glad that Dr. Kevorkian did his job and ended this useless bit of news. I just wish it was sooner rather than later.

Now that the end has come I wonder where will the remaining Republicans will find their next so called leader to follow.

BTW have you guys not noticed how quickly your so called leaders keep dropping? It's like using Raid on a bunch of flies hovering around a dung heap......LOL

North Korea said Monday that it is open to new dialogue to defuse tensions over its nuclear weapons program in what appeared to be a call for direct talks with the United States.

Hope the President rejects this offer. We must force them onto the table under our terms any not theirs.

Sarah Palin stepped down Sunday as Alaska governor to write a book and build a right-of-center coalition, but she left her long-term political plans unclear and refused to address speculation she would seek a 2012 presidential bid.

Translation........."I quit".......Ah we just love quiters now don't we?

RomeoRamenII at 01:13 PM JST - 27th July The U.S. left hates Sarah Palin because she is a strong Republican woman who supports small Government, the military, the NRA, right to life, etc.

This is far from a strong Conservative woman, Nancy Reagan is a strong Conservative women. Sarah Palin could not hold her own in the same room with Mrs. Reagan.

The Republican's have lost their vision and their leadership. Now all they have left are so called leaders who quit when it gets too hot.

The truly sad thing here is that the rank and file Republicans try and defend this sort of leadership. This goes to show you that there are no real leaders left in the Republican party. If they had real leaders they would raise up and take charge.

But those of that mode are all but gone. Now all the Republican's have left are quiters and criminals.

The Republican party that I grew up around are shells, nothing more. The people of true vision have been cast aside for those that do not have a clue.

    So bloody sad........

Also Sunday, around 40 Jewish hard-liners marched through an Israeli Arab town in a provocative move drawing hundreds of Arab counter-protestors.

The marchers included a Jewish lawmaker from an ultranationalist religious party. They said they wanted to highlight illegal construction by Arabs as a counterweight to criticism of illegal Jewish construction in West Bank settlements. An Israeli court ruled that the marchers’ right to protest was protected by law.

When hardliners take control of any nation what usually follows is violence.

I hope that all parties involved wake up before this dream of hope for peace turns into more of a nightmare.

sailwind at 04:33 PM JST - 25th July Time to trot out another Bush / Cheney story. Have to feed the rabid bunch a bone a week I guess. A story from 2002 is so relevant now.

I am glad it was and not Cheney who had the last word.

Cheney and his ilk would destroy the Constitution with no second thought. He needs to be kept away from any, and I do mean any public office the rest of his life.

If he were dog catcher he may try to train the dogs to hunt down citizens he thought were not American enough for him......

hworta269 at 01:03 AM JST - 25th July Obama gets to conduct his military affairs without any media scandals being invented at every turn. If Bush had taken out his son they would have spun it in to another contraversy.

If Bush would have taken out any of the Bin Laden clan that would have been great. But he decided not to think about Bin Laden and only worry about Iraqi oil.

What's more important, repay your friends for there help or hunt down the man responsible for the greatest attack again our great nation?

It appears that Bush wanted to help his oil friends rather than do his job......

Operation Iraqi Liberation was all that was on Bush's mind....
