Ok here are some Palin quotes that gives you an insight into who this person WANTS to make you believe she is but has proven time and again that she is not.....

Speech delivered on Aug 29, 2008 at Dayton Ohio
Politics isn't just a game of competing interests and clashing parties. The people of America expect us to seek public office and to serve for the right reasons. And the right reason is to challenge the status quo and to serve the common good.

The people expect us to seek office and serve for the right reason....But not finish what you told the people you would do.....

I accept the challenge of a tough fight in this election against confident opponents at a crucial hour for our country. Source: Acceptance Speech at Republican Convention Sep 3 2008

Oh wait I am a victim and I can not handle the heat, so I quit.....LOL

No one expects us to agree on everything. But we are expected to govern with integrity, good will, clear convictions, and ... a servant's heart. Source: Acceptance Speech at Republican Convention Sep 3 2008

Or until we feel like a VICTIM......Oh they do not like me.....LOL My my so quick to quit......LOL

Well, it's always, though, safer in politics to avoid risk, to just kind of go along with the status quo. But I didn't get into government to do the safe and easy things. Source: Speech delivered on Aug 29, 2008 at Dayton Ohio

No she just got into government to be a quitter.....Americans hate quitters....But we hate whiners even more.....well unless you are a far righter trying to defend your so called hero.....LOL

But listening to him (Barack Obama) speak, it's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or reform - not even in the state Senate. Source: Acceptance Speech at Republican Convention Sep 3 2008

But he never quit nor has broken the faith of the people who elected him....But you did.....Saaaaad....LOL

I never really set out to be involved in public affairs, much less to run for this office. Source: Speech delivered on Aug 29, 2008 at Dayton Ohio

Yep that is why she can quit and walk away from the people for her higher calling!LOL

You far right wingers are soooooooOOOOoooo funny....Always saying things about being patriotic or how we as Americans never quit. But the if things get too hot, you run and hide. Then you yell that you are being abused.....LOL

Media bias huh, try looking at who owns the media before you yell that silly comment....LOL

Please, she could not handle the heat sop she bailed. What does the far right say? Let us find out

Ah yes,"I am a victim!" cry my a river. Sarah Palin wants to play the victim card well let us then play the far right response to that card.....

Let us play a game, let us play who made the quote......Ok far right wingers let us play.....

    1. "Character matters; leadership descends from character."

    2. "She sounds like a screeching ex-wife."

Now guess what far right winger said that and then place Palin's name in front.

Please she could not hack it as CIC of one of the smallest states. What in your gods name makes you believe that she will ever be able to handle anything else?

Please, she broke a promise to the people of Alaska for what? A so called higher calling.......Sad....

This is so bloody funny, the far right again and I do mean again, circles the wagon in an attempt to save the party.

I find it so funny that the far right here is so desperate to save it image that they will not question why someone can not complete a full term.

Then the far right dances around the obvious and tries to change the entire topic!LOL

    We have the following far right dancers attempting to hide the elephant under the table;

Badsey at 09:15 AM JST - 5th July Show me a true vintage Obama birth certificate and not the fake computer print-out. -I have not seen it. How about some College grades?

Classic conspiracy theorist that has been disproven too many times to count. But keep trying to hide that elephant...LOL Bold try there, but that elephant is still in plain sight.....LOL

DickMorris at 07:34 AM JST - 5th July Great woman with adequate skills to become a successfull 2 term president. After the Obama debacle the Dems will be unelectable for decades.I'm really looking forward to her in power in 4 years time. You betcha!

Here is a great one, he claims she has the skills to be a 2 term President. But what he fails to comment on is that she could not be a one term Governor.LOL Another classic dance step from the far right. But I can still see that pesky elephant....LOL

inkjet at 07:33 AM JST - 5th July i understand why people may be opposed to plain. honestly i know very little about her, i'm waiting until we get closer to an election. why waste energy on her now? but i am really disturbed by the attack politics, the politics of personal destruction. it's really ugly.

Here inkjet tries to claim that the personal attacks are unwarranted because she is deserves better.

But wait, she quit her post as governor with almost 2 years to go! That shows her true character and it is sad. She quit as Alaska's CIC and her reason has been because she has a hirer calling?LOL

Darn it, there is that darned elephants behind still sticking out!LOL

mtimjones at 03:25 AM JST - 5th July Gotta love the liberals. What exactly did Sarah Palin do to the liberals, other than challenge them? Misogynists all...

Here an attempt is made by mtimjones that reason the left attacks her is that they have a hatred of women....LOL Nice, try to make into a,"they have a problem with strong women" rather than the obvious problem with her character.LOL

Not the only one trying to use gender as a defense but I thought this was the funniest.

Darn it, I can still see that elephant!LOL

Dubya at 01:17 AM JST - 5th July Good for Sarah. you are a REAL conservative

I edited out all the propaganda and got to what he wanted to say.

Now here our dear friend Dubya is calling her move, a good move for her. Then he claims she is a REAL conservative. But what he fails to even address is the fact that she quit two years into her term. WTFO....LOL

Darn it, you guys tried to hide that elephant but everyone can still see it...LOL

You guys really are in desperation when you fall on your swords trying to defend people who can not handle the job. In the real world if a person resigns their position. They are saying,"I can not do the job" especially a job as CIC of any post.

Palin stepped down from her job and you guys can not ask the simplest question,"why". All you can do is say,"Way to go!"LOL.......

I am sorry but her actions are not that bright, she really should have thought of the people of Alaska and finished out her term. The people that voted for her expected her to finish what she started.

When anyone gives their vote to a person, they are saying that they believe what the person promised, and she broke her promise. There is no excuse for breaking a promise. That shows her true character and it is a very sad one..........

If you far right wingers are putting your hopes on a person like this. Then the far right wing party will again lose. Then maybe, just maybe the Republican party will shed that far right Christian control that has brought it to this place.

So I for one hope that you guys do make her your candidate, then the reign of that faction will die!

BRAVO ZULU to Vice President Biden and his son. I think that every politician who has a son/daughter who is of age to serve should serve our nation. A nations leader leads by example and not by words.

Well to be perfectly honest, I believe that if a person wants to run for public office at the federal level. They need to serve at least two years in the Military. No military service, no federal public office.

After reading many of the post here (many being 12.LOL) I began to wonder who is left in the field of republican candidates...The ony name that came to mind was....Mitt Romney, better known as Willard....wonder if he likes rats also? BTW if you got to ask then you are too young.....

Now if you can only get the rest of the wantabes to stop messing around on their wives you may have a candidate....

This is very sad for the field of......oh wait you also have Newt don't you.

Wow you guys better get used to a Democrat in the White House for a very long time......

Not saying you would have stood a chance with Palin as the front runner. But with out her in the field I will not get to laugh as much.

    ALASKA!!!LOL

Iraqis celebrate US pullback but bombing kills 27

In an effort to bring a smile and that warm fuzzy feeling in the bottom of all far right wing "Crusaders", I offer this assessment of why the Iraqis are so happy. But before I do I will say that I am doing this in loving memory of Cheney and his Rove spin machine.......

The Iraqis in an overwhelming thank to our troop massed in the streets to just say,"Thank you". They were so glad that the Bush administration brought them out of the harms way of the evil tyrant's grip and into the new air of safety and freedom. That they ran out into the streets and kissed picture of Bush and Cheney. Then of course they threw those flowers that Cheney said they would throw when we first invaded.

Now the Iraqis are living in the peace and happiness of the Neo-Con dream. The Neo-con movement has proven itself to be the true path of joy and happiness for the world.

Just imagine how bad off the Iraqis had it before under the clutches of the terrible evil evil evil bad guy known as Saddam.

    Sure the Iraqis did not have;

    1. Bombings

    2. Street battles

    3. Kidnappings

    4. No electricity

    5. No running water

    6. 200,000 plus dead civilians

    7. No economy

Sure they did not have all that but now they have freedom to complain about all that.

I say god bless Cheney, Bush, Wolfie, Rummy and the Neo-Con dream. If it were not for that vision where would those Iraqis be right now?

Your right if you said,"Alive and well under that tyrant." Who needs to be alive and well if you are not free?

Again I say, thank you joe the neo-con for a job well done!LOL

teleprompter at 10:34 AM JST - 3rd July Warren Buffet regrets backing Obama.

Anyway we can get a link to where Buffet said that? I would love to read it in his own words.

inkjet at 10:39 AM JST - 3rd July people will just as easily turn on obama. it's human nature. and in this case they will be able to point at some very clear actions on obama's part. he went radical. if you go radical it better work, ala reagan.

Ah uh, so can you also provide us with some information on how our President has gone radical? LOL

Sarge at 11:35 AM JST - 3rd July It's going to take President Obama most of his two terms to fix everything Bush and Cheney screwed up. So he can't be blamed for anything bad that happens. But he can take credit for anything good that happens, because his policies are sound and work fast!

Isn't that the way all politics works? Blame the guy before you and then take credit when something works?

But if our President does make two terms it will be on his merits.

Now back to the topic, I do not think our President has a full 60. I would rather call this 59.5. So let us see where we get on health care.

Hopefully with Franken in there the left will have enough votes to get the United States out of the clutches of the Insurance companies. Not to mention the AMA and their,"we must fight the Socialist" lobbying.......

Two U.S. defense sources said the soldier “just walked off” post with three Afghans after he finished working. They said they had no explanation for why he left the base.

All I have to say is, WTFO? What was this guy smoking, walking off with 3 Afghans? I repeat WTFO??

teleprompter at 09:41 AM JST - 3rd July All of Obama's apologizing and groveling didn't work?

Yeah our President should have been right there making sure this guy did not just walk off...Yeah....LOL

Noliving at 09:22 AM JST - 3rd July But fighting though sabiwabi hasn't prevented or stopped any loss of their land. If the palestinians would have agreed to the deal the Israelis agreed to in 1948 things would be a lot different for palestine.

You were doing okay up to this point, very interesting point of view before.

Now I myself take issue with your claim that you can not win a home land by terror or armed conflict.

How exactly did the Israelis win their independence? Shall we talk about Lehi, the assassination of Lord Moyne, British police station in Haifa in 1947, Cairo-Haifa train bombings 1948 or the Deir Yassin massacre 1948?

Israel was created through armed conflict there is no way to dance around it. The Israelis won their land by acts of terror.

So how is Hamas or any other Palestinian terror group any different?

For some reason when I bring this up no one can ever answer that question....

Hamas needs to acknowledge Israels right to exist and Israel needs to give up land. If those two things happen, then there maybe peace.

But until then the Palestinians will continue the Israeli blue print for independence. It is as simple as that.........

Sarge at 09:33 PM JST - 2nd July Hooray! Another Democrat in the Senate! This will help to guarantee a rubber stamp for Obama's policies!

And the crowd rejoices and yells,"We want 75!".....OoooOOOoooo 60 majority..

BeaverCleaver at 07:36 AM JST - 3rd July Inket, I told you the articles were not helping you. Perhaps if you had an inkling of how courts work, it would help you avoid the spin of the articles.

Do not hold your breath trying to get anything but a run around with good ole inkjet. He only see what he wants to see. Just let him speak and everyone will see what he knows.

He likes to use the Karl Rove tactic of,"If you shout real loud they wont hear the other guy" but of course everyone see what he is trying to do....LOL

I never understand why the far right tries to hijack threads.....lol

inkjet at 02:22 PM JST - 2nd July of course the state legislature can over ride the vote in the state.

Typo? I was talking about the Constitution and what the Congress does when it comes to Presidential election and not state elections.

inkjet at 02:22 PM JST - 2nd July the florida legislature already made it clear they were ready to certify the vote. there is no way in hell the us congress was going to over ride the supreme court and name a new president. you have to be joking. right?

You really need to read the Constitution, it does not matter what a State says or wants to say when it comes to a Presidential election.

Congress trumps everyone when it comes to the election of the President.

LFRAgain at 04:30 PM JST - 2nd July inkjet, You never really explained how or why you think Al Gore put up a fight that in any way mirrors the refusal of Coleman to give up for seven months.

inkjet will not give an answer all he does is skirt around the facts. Then when the facts are too much against him he does what most far righters do, dance some more.

He is attempting (to no avail) to defend the Coleman debacle by claiming that Al Gore did the same thing. But of course that is false and he can not defend his argument.

Hell he still thinks that the Supreme Court has the right to name a winner in a Presidential election. By the claims he has made he has proven that he has never read the Constitution.

Too bad, I believe that all Americans should get to know the Constitution and know how our Government works....

inkjet at 12:45 PM JST - 2nd July including a challenge to the constitutionality of the Supreme Court's decision to end the ballot counting this is hysterical. how were they going to challenge that? get michael moore to take the case?

Have you ever read the Constitution?

Do not know if you know this or not but Congress can step in and accept or decline any election. It has the power to vote in place of the people if an election is contested.

This is a q and a that may help you out.

What role does Congress play in a contested presidential election? Has it ever had to elect a President or Vice President? The U.S. Congress has two roles to perform in the case of a contested presidential election: (1) to officially count the ballots and announce the results of the Electoral College votes for President and Vice President, and (2) to elect the President and Vice President if the Electoral College fails to do so. If a majority does not materialize in support of one candidate, the House and Senate, pursuant to the Constitution, are to proceed immediately to an election for president and vice president, known formally as a "Contingent Election." In a Contingent Election, the 12th Amendment to the Constitution states the House of Representatives shall choose the President, by ballot. It further states that the U.S. Senate shall elect the Vice President. The House has elected a President twice. In 1801, the House of Representatives elected Thomas Jefferson, after 36 rounds of balloting. In 1825, it elected John Quincy Adams, after one round of balloting. The Senate has elected one vice president in U.S. history. It elected Richard Mentor Johnson to be Vice President in 1837. He was President Martin Van Buren's Vice President.

inkjet at 09:44 AM JST - 2nd July While Gore did not drag it out. how's life in the alternate universe joe?

Actually if it were an alternate universe Al Gore would have disputed the ruling and backed the anti confirmation block of Democrats and fought the results of the Supreme Court decision.

Now that would have been an alternate universe.

But Al Gore did what he did for our nation, like a true Patriot. While Coleman only thought of party and said to hell with the people of Minnesota. But facts are fact Coleman dragged it out while Gore did not. So, wait have to pinch self, yep we are still living in this existence.LOL

inkjet at 09:49 AM JST - 2nd July yabit, what the heck are you talking about? even this site is full of people still whining about the stolen gore election.
