Dubya at 10:19 PM JST - 1st July To serve, one should be of sound mind. Gays are not. If they want to serve, thay have to stop being gay.

Leadership has nothing to do with ones sexual orientation. If an officer or enlisted man/woman can handle him/herself under fire who cares what they like.

Your claim is more of personal beliefs than of any research ever done.

northlondon at 12:53 AM JST - 2nd July No disrespect to any soldiers here, but that's the truth people. And the Army wants to train young men to become fit killing machines.

So you are saying that a gay person can not be a lean mean killing machine?LOL I would put money against that statement of yours.LOL

I would bet, that right now there are many, many, many gay men and women serving in armed forces throughout the world. I would also bet that they are fine Soldiers/Sailors/Marines (Royal Marines)...LOL Funny

northlondon at 12:53 AM JST - 2nd July So when posters here talk about hours and hours of sensitivity training to soldiers to accept gays and discharging soldiers just for beating-up a fellow soldier in the barracks, then there is absolutely no understanding of what the Army is all about and what it requires from its soldiers.

The Army (all Military forces) is all about discipline, if you allow soldiers to fight in the barracks then there is no discipline.

Do not know what force you served in but, in the U.S. Navy sailors were brought up on charges if caught fighting each other.

The only folks that had problems on my Submarine were the ones who had no discipline or the lazy ones. You did your job no one cared what you did on your time.

    President Evo Morales

This Chavez lemming far left winger is a product of our former administration taking it's eye off of South America. This guy and his kind need to go bye bye.

The U.S. Trade Representative announced Tuesday that it was ending the import duty waivers because world’s No. 3 cocaine-producing country is not doing enough in the war on drugs, leaving “unconstrained” coca cultivation.

The motto of the Communist in Central and South America is, "No oil, well then produce Cocaine.". He is unwilling to take the drug trade seriously, then lose all rights.

Let Ecuador feel the pain that it is exporting around the world.

Communism is a plague that needs to be cut out.

Molenir at 02:38 AM JST - 2nd July And now we can really deny the rights of all the Americans who disagree with us. Whahoo! We can't wait to really grind you guys down now. Lets all cheer! Now no one can or will stop the spending spree!

Ah rights, what a lovable concept, yes that fabled word that we nearly lost under the grasp of the far right.

But here you are mistaken Molenir, you can put away your patented aluminum cap. Right shall not be taken away. Your right to bare arms shall not be with held. Our President shall not order his troops to raid everyone's houses to remove all guns.

I find it funny how the far far right has this idea that what the Turner diaries says will come to pass. But, our Constitution is stronger than your worries.

Now our nation moves to the left to correct the damage the far right did to our nation. Then if the far left damages our nation the same thing will happen but in the reverse.

    Isn't our Constitution great?

Can not wait for the next election, maybe more nails will be hammered into that far far right wing (cough) (cough)... Well you get the idea....LOL

Franken will make a darn good politician. He is funny, well liked, well respected, has leftist views and best of all Rush hates him...LOL

This is a great day for America.......

teleprompter at 09:58 AM JST - 1st July C'mon. It's Minnesota. They elected a former pro wrestler to be their governor.

Yes they also have elected a Republican Governor, was that also a good move?

I love reading how the far right here is calling this elect a farce. But funny how things turned out. The last court that the two went before were made up of mainly Republican judges.....

Hell Norm could not steal the election with Republican judges, no one must really like him...LOL

Ecuadorean state attorney Carlos Jimenez says Juan Manuel Santos is under investigation for allegedly directing the raid, which killed a senior leader of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia and 24 others.

This has Chavez written all over it. He has been promoting the far left movement in South America. He also supports leftist terrorist with money and arms.

He also supports leftist candidates all throughout South America.

Ecuador's government is just a puppet state for Chavez due to his financial aide to them.

Now they (Ecuador and Chavez) are going after the only Government in South America that is not scared of him.

Ecuador was unwilling and unable to handle the terrorist who have been attacking Colombia. So Colombia had to take care of business.

I just hope that Colombia will keep on attacking those terrorist.

Poor MJ, now the hungry lions will eat his estate and those kids will be forced to sing on the street corner to make any money.

MJ, may have been nearly penniless but he is worth more dead than alive. Everyone knows it and that is wgy everyone is making a run to take control....

Funny how the Father comes out and says that he is founding a record company. I wonder where the money will come from to start that company up? I also wonder who will be the first singers to make an album?LOL

Poor MJ, he is getting it hard after he is cold.....LOL

SuperLib at 07:16 PM JST - 28th June I think it's pretty universally accepted from the US right on down to the head of the IAEA that Iran's ultimate goal is to develop nuclear weapons.

We all know what they want.....But we must remember that they are not the only boys on the block with a WMD. If we are to insist that they disarm then we must also ask our friends to do the same....

How would you feel if the biggest baddest guy on in the play ground told you you could not mess with his friends? You would want some sort of M.A.D. in your pocket also.....

The middle East has more than enough nukes, is it not time to disarm?

This armament will not stop until weapon sales are controlled. But there is way too much cash to complain about that.

A clear sign that the far right Repub's are rowing their boat with only one oar. If those two are all they have left, then they are more than dead....They are also stuffed....LOL

I am still surprised that our dear friends on the far right have not come near as to support our nation and it's leader during this time of trouble.

The far right was willing to bend over backwards and do tricks at the slightest suggestion that the previous administration was doing any thing wrong when it came to foreign policy.

But the only thing that has changed is the party our President belongs to. Too bad the far right is so blinded by hate that they can not see the brilliance of his chess play.

Oh well, we now see the difference between a leader and those that want to lead.

sailwind at 03:51 PM JST - 28th June Like I said before he thinks he can control us. Curses....outed before I can complete my evil Neo-Con plan to rule the world from my secret lair. Where is my evil minion Cheney to advise me now?????

AHA! I knew it, I knew that you were the man behind the Neo-Con movement of the late 80's early 90's! Yes, yes I see it now......All this time you have been hiding behind the cloak of secrecy. All this time you have been plotting and planning....Yes, yes even....dare I say...controlling everything! AHA had to be!!!

AHHHHhhhhHHHhhhh I need to run and get my, Helter_Skelter protective aluminum cap, to make sure you can not read my thoughts!!!

Thank you for coming clean though, shows the kind of person you are....LOL

teleprompter at 01:20 PM JST - 28th June Another thread where Obama's foreign-born defenders outnumber his American ones. And as I have said this means he is in trouble on the issue in question.

So only good Americans are born in the United States? So let's say that I was born in Cuba and my family moved to America to escape Communism. Then I was raised in America, served in the Navy proudly was willing and still am willing to die for her.

Does this make me less of an American than let's say...hm... One that was born there?

Molenir at 03:51 PM JST - 27th June Homosexuality is a disorder

    Actually I consider many thing disorders, but homosexuality is not one. You see a disorder is;

A mental disorder or mental illness is a psychological or behavioral pattern that occurs in an individual and is thought to cause distress or disability that is not expected as part of normal development or culture.

To me people who kill others in the name of a god have a mental illness. People who love other people because of who they are do not.

Kind of sad if you sit back and think about it. People kill other people because a book says so. No matter how many times that book has been rewritten and changed by those trying to make a point.

OH well people who hate have a real mental illness. Same with the people that see or believe they see Conspiracies all around them. Sad how ill people like that are.......

Heh, sure. He's just furious the news got out he had an ice-cream after critisizing the Iranian situation. Ahh Adverts,

Oh how evil President Obama goes and has ice cream with his children! This can not, he must be an evil man to do such a thing! Who would try and spend quality time with their children at a time like this?

He needs to be tied to his chair and forced to look like he is doing something! You know like Bush was! Bush was always at the White! Now that was a true red blooded American President!

Never did he take time to be with his family! He was one great red blooded American!

Sure President Obama has thousands of people monitor the situation. But darn it he is President Obama. We could understand him delegating work to his people if he were a red blooded American far right winger, but he is a Democrat.

President Obama needs to look back at President Bush as an example of a working President.

Spending time with his children! How can he do that? What a a bad man he is....

You guys on the far right need to wake up and realize that President Obama has tons of folks working for him. He can take some quality time for his family when he deems it.

Guess what, I know that what I about to say maybe hard to get. But he is in constant contact with all his people. I know , I know it is hard to understand that. But we are living in the 21st century, and he has many forms of technology at his disposal....

You guys have to be desperate to attack a man who tried to spend time with his family. Each time you guys post you look worse and worse...

Molenir at 06:02 AM JST - 27th June Actually, it was pulled because of politics, not because its not a disorder.

As always half truths are the way of the far right....

Following controversy and protests from gay activists at APA annual conferences from 1970 to 1973, as well as the emergence of new data from researchers such as Alfred Kinsey and Evelyn Hooker, the seventh printing of the DSM-II, in 1974, no longer listed homosexuality as a category of disorder. But through the efforts of psychiatrist Robert Spitzer, who had led the DSM-II development committee, a vote by the APA trustees in 1973, and confirmed by the wider APA membership in 1974, the diagnosis was replaced with the category of "sexual orientation disturbance".

I wonder how quickly the far right would start protesting if the new DSM manual stated that believing in a fairy tale god was a mental disorder?

I for one find that anytime people try to label medical conditions sometime it is done out of ignorance. Or out of disdain by certain religious beliefs.

If only religious beliefs would be removed from the world of medicine the world would be a healthier place, mentally and physically.

“The court, which only imparts justice for the powerful, the rich and the bankers, only causes problems for democracy,” he said following Thursday’s Supreme Court ruling.

Translation, "I want to be your dictator for life!" The United States took it's eye off of South America and the left took over. I am glad to see that our President has taken more of an interest on the Americas than the last.

Hope we can turn the tide from these leftist.....

MJ is dead, okay, he made some album made tons of cash lost tons of case. Got accused of being a molester but was found not guilty once and paid out the other.

Then he dies of a heart attack...

    RIP...

I for one was never a MJ fan, I liked some of his songs but never bought one album of his. I found his music too poppy for my taste.

When Ozzy, tony Iomi, or Dio passe away that to me will be a sad day.

But MJ, well he will be missed by some people but not I.

    RIP MJ.......

Altria at 12:03 PM JST - 26th June Yuck. I have no problem with people getting a little on the side, but all that sentimental drivel makes me want to puke.

To be completely honest, I almost feel for the guy. Not that I condone what he did, but I do not think he is real stable.

His actions leading up to this seem like he is in the midst of a crisis. He goes AWOL, tells his wife he is going hiking but is later spotted returning on a flight from Argentina.

Then he dances a bit then comes clean. Real odd actions....
