Killing the cat was a sign that the person who did this either hated animals or disliked the family. I wonder what was the order of the killings. Cat first or one of the humans interesting case.

The surviving son had a good alibi, coming home late from a night or drinking. But walks in on the attackers and is himself attacked.

What hits me as kind of odd is that the Mother and the other Brother were both killed while the last brother was not. Also, the last brother gets a glimpse of the killer and hears him speak. Why would the killer not off the last brother rather than leaving him alive?

Next part really seems odd to me...

Isao said he saw the assailant’s face briefly, but that he lost consciousness shortly after, and could not recall details about his face or clothing.

You see the face and clothes of you attacker but you can not remember details? He knew that his attacker spoke with an intonation in Japanese was strange. So he remembers the persons voice but can not recall even what his attacker wore.

Something does seem to be real smelly about this sons story. Something does not add up at all.

I just hope that the police are leaving out more details and the son does remember. I hope that the son did not have a hand in this crime.

Sarge at 07:14 PM JST - 5th May Even if President Obama wins re-election and serves eight years ( gulp! ), there's no way the U.S. military is going to eliminate all of its nukes.

Sarge you are correct, it is almost impossible to destroy all our nukes and it would be a bit silly. President Obama is playing the part of peace maker and it is a smart move.

What we will do is dispose of old outdated weapons and put in place newer better ones. In my book it is a win win situation.

arashikage at 06:29 AM JST - 6th May The US will never give up its nukes, since it has nothing else to fall back on.

Now that is a silly comment Arashikage. The U.S. has more unused forces than you will ever dream.

Enjoy the site it will surprise you.

Total number of nukes held by the United States over 10,000.

Please remember MIRVs are your friends, love them and kiss them and write cities names on them (we were not allowed to do that). MIRVs love you so love them.

Ah yes, the poor fortune 500 need more money. We need to make sure that their profits keep going up up and away. If we tax them then they will take the rest of the jobs away.LOL

Come now far right, wake up and smell the facts about out sourcing. The only reason these companies are taking jobs out of the US is because the far right had allowed them for 8 years.

Come on, these companies have been giving the workers the short end for the longest time now. All the far right can say is the same thing you guys are told to say.

Let us see what the outsources does for the world.

Well to start child labor and slave labor, yes you know using kids and slaves to do the work. What a great way to make a profit! Every far rights dream, real cheap labor and huge profits! It's a win win situation!

    Now who is doing it.......

Nike does it, China does it, India does it, major United States Companies do it so it must be okay to do it! It's good to be the king!

Here is a list of American companies that have sent United States jobs overseas.....

    http://edition.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/lou.dobbs.tonight/popups/exporting.america/content.html

Wake up and smell the coffee, these companies are taking jobs that pay well to the workers closing shop and then using slave labor to make a huge profit.

Nike dunk low shoe retail for $75.00 each. It costs about $4.90 to make one shoe including transportation. The total profit for that shoe is. $70.10 per shoe.

This is with paying the worker any where from $0.00 to 1.20$ per hour.

It is really sad see people trying to defend a company that is using loopholes to give it to the workers.

All the far right supporters can say is,"May I have another please, SIR!" Just like a well trained machine.

Now what is that old saying.....Oh yes, lay with dogs and you will fleas....I am pretty sure that the leaders in Pakistan did not see this coming.

Give them an inch and they will take a province...

Now the fruits of the Pakistani/Taliban deal are coming home to.....well you get the picture.

I do not think it is an overreaction, this swine flu is dangerous and needs to be watched.

Of course the Mexican authorities will try to get the country moving again. Other than drug export their next big business is tourism. They have to show the world that it is ok to come back to Mexico.

But I for one do not trust the Mexican government. They need to make money and the only way that happens is if they get people working.

The president’s plan would limit the ability of U.S. companies to defer paying U.S. taxes on overseas profits. At the same time, Obama would step up efforts to go after evaders who abuse offshore tax shelters.

I for one am for getting the evaders. I suspect that the President will have trouble with this idea because of all the lobbyist who own politicians.

These well paid and bought politicians will fight for their backers tooth and nail. Forget about what is good for the country, they need to protect their bread and butter. How will these politicians be able to play golf in Scotland if their friends have to pay their fair share?

We need to turn on the lights and start stumping some of these corrupt politicians. The country deserves politicians who are not bought and paid for.

I am glad it is President Obama in there rather than anyone else!

The business community argues the deferral system helps them compete against foreign companies that pay taxes only in the countries where they generate profits.

A long time ago the term Made in America meant something. These days the only thing Made in America is usually the label. The quality of the MiA items were high quality at one time. Now with most of the labor coming from other countries that quality and pride has disappeared.

Many companies have moved many jobs out of American and put them into cheaper less advanced nations. By doing this they can pay someone .10 cents an hour and sell the item for a huge profit.

The only one making out here is the companies. Time to end this farce, time to make the companies pay people what they deserve.

I expect our far right friends here will begin to scream and yell in favor of the companies. But what have these companies done for the workers? The high level execs get paid huge bonuses and the common worker loses his/her job because of a tax loophole.

Pride left "Made in America" when it was outsourced....

I for one think the slave labor needs to end. Fair pay for a days work!

Funny how the far right holds so dear our country but cares not for what the Founding Fathers wrote in the Constitution....

    Article III

Section 2. The judicial power shall extend to all cases, in law and equity, arising under this Constitution

If you read the rest you will see that their responsibility is to oversee and correct laws that go against the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The Court trumps all, not even the President can overturn their decisions. I understand that most Republicans have a problem with that but there is nothing you can do. Well short of a coup attempt by the far right. I do not think they are that nutz......But I have been wrong about them in the past.

The Courts protect We the People from insane laws, far right or far left!

I for one am glad that the Judges can do this......

The internal civil war within the Republican party will certainly lead to more defections. With the Republican party trying to find it's core values blood will soon spill into the streets.

Funny this all started after the Republicans were blown out of the water last election. Then fuel was added to the fire when they selected Steele as their new leader. Then Rush and Steele went after each other....Wow this is so nice to see......

The neo-cons vs the Conservatives vs the religious right vs the fiscal conservatives vs the neo-Nazis' vs the ultra Conservatives..... Who will win and how many will create a new party.....

All those guns and all that bad blood. All it will take is a few drinks and BANGO the party gets bloody!LOL

Wonder who will be the first to start shooting?

Mexico reported no new deaths from swine flu overnight

Alright! This means we can all back to our vacations in Mexico....right?

Do not know about anyone else, but I really do not trust this messenger. I think I will wait to see if this correct before I believe the government line, "Everything is fine, you can go swimming no more giant shark!". For some reason I do not trust the Mexican government on this one.

Funny little fact most of the current Supreme court Judges were put there by Republican Presidents. Only Ginsburg and Breyer were not selected by a Republican.

I wonder who will a Liberal Democrat President pick..OoooOOOooo the courts may soon go heavily to the left!!!

With 60 in the Senate one can only wish that a few more of the Justices will retire....Scalia is really getting up there in years and I do not think he is driving with a full tank of gas anyways.....

WhiteHawk at 01:06 AM JST - 3rd May JoeBigs, Carter is 85 years old. He's divise (several people quit his Carter Foundation following his recent Israel-bashing book), suffering from dementia (got attacked by a rabbit, etc.), is incapable of accountability (blames all of his poor decisions as president on the first convenient fall guy he can find) and has already done too much meddling in America's foreign policies (nukes for North Korea, etc.) as it is.

I still wonder if that killer bunny was not a trained Soviet assassin. But the President did fight that little sucker off now didn't he?

WhiteHawk at 01:06 AM JST - 3rd May I'm laughing at you too. Good God, you were serious about Carter! Could you have picked a more unqualified nominee from the left?

I still think that President Carter is a fair and competent person. But his selection is nothing more than my way of tossing of names. All along trying to rouse interest in the process of selecting our next Justice.

It has been 15 years and now a Democrat has the opportunity to place new blood into the Supreme Court.

Then let me ask you folks who do you think the President will pick?

I think it will be a current Justice with a long record.

He went missing Monday during a visit to a volcano on the island of Kuchinoerabu-jima in the northern Ryukyu Islands of southern Japan.

I suspect that this will turn into a plot for a bad movie. I do not think that anyone will ever find any evidence of this man. I think he has fallen into the volcano....Oooops there goes that book....
