Maybe I'm just lame, but I kinda wish I'd gotten the chance to hit Meibutsu Kuidaora before it was gone. I only get to visit once in a while, and every time I hear about a historic place closing, all I can think of is, "I missed it!"

Something to consider... if the services of real geisha were a little less exclusive/expensive, maybe they wouldn't be going extinct. That's not to say that their services aren't worth what they charge, but we do have to consider that it's possible that they're pricing themselves out of business.
