These buildings are too new to be relocated to the excellent Meiji Mura building museum (near Nagoya). Perhaps they should start a museum for the Showa period's iconic buildings.

I haven't been for many years but always enjoyed Star Tours. For those not attracted to negative G or being suspended upside down 100 feet up in the air, it's a ride where you know you'll still have your lunch inside you afterwards.

I moved from XP to Windows 7 and found my printer and scanner (both made by Japanese companies) were not supported by it. It was presumably Epson's and Canon's policy not to issue Win7 drivers for kit they sold me in 2005. To misquote the Nagoya city official "Why should I have to replace my peripherals at the convenience of their manufacturer?"
