    It's not about ethics...it's only about what is suitable for us. It is evident from the fact that we supported Islamist Mujahideen to fight against Afganistan govt that was supported by USSR. We attacked Iraq for oil and treat Pakistan as partner in war against terrorism despite knowing that it is breeding ground for terrorism.

    We are reaping fruits of our own acts.

    Poverty leads to slavery and exploitation rather than freedom. The way to survive financial downturns is to spend less than what you earn and save some money for bad day. To stay away from false status symbols and peer comparisons and keep your loan, creadit card payments to minimum. It is too late to start, though, if you are worrying about current recession.

    In a corrupt country like Pakistan, the money would never reach the poor and needy. Making Pakistan an ally for fighting terrorism is biggest joke! That country has always nurtured the terrorists. I also agree with gogogo that Japan should do same thing with North Korea to fight their terrorism!
