Per capita, Great Britain is by far the worst culprit for greenhouse gas emissions, not the USA, simply because they've been doing it for longer.
No-one seriously expects the USA to fix any of it - they've hardly been first off the mark on that one.

The age of consent is 13, but effectively, other laws make it illegal to have sex with someone under the age of 18 (or 16 in the case of marriage with parental consent). I agree that her parents or guardians should be investigated for lapse in care. If no lapse is found, the girl herself should be punished.

If the western nations start seriously cutting emissions now, they will have to be down to zero emissions by 2050, but if they delay until 2020, they will need to cut to zero by 2040. The poorer nations have longer, but all emissions need to get down to zero by 2100.
It's just not going to happen and we're all doomed.

Rear doors all have a safety lock so they can only be opened from the outside. It's a bit of a PIA, but stops the kids from popping out at random intervals.
