there is a name and category for everybody. What difference does this one make? Everybody's just doing the best they can with what they've got....just trying to get by in this madhouse of a world that grows bigger daily. There is no rulebook or instruction manual so go with your gut and do what you want: Otaku DragonballZ coustumes included. I hope i spelled that correctly because I have no idea what that is aside from the images splashed all over the childrens lunchboxes and pencil cases.

no doubt the "parked cars" were parked illegally. Every bicycle rider in this country knows how angry you get when jackasses park on the side of the street forcing you to veer into traffic because the sidewalk is crowded and small and how dangerous it is.

Just do what I do: 2 double voldkas in the airport bar 30 minutes prior to takeoff, pop a couple of over the counter sleep aids, tell the flight attendant that you are terrified of flying and you need a drink as soon as possible to help avoid a panic attack, sit back and enjoy the euphoria of intoxication, pass out in the middle of the first movie, wake up an hour before landing after sleeping through all meals and all noises and all emergencies or catastrophes well rested and ready to start your vacation.

very observant cadmium, seriously. I didnt see that at first either. Also the comments she makes describing guys from Spain, guys from Japan and neither paint a flattering picture. Then, ending with "they are in love, but i dont want to know." also makes it sound like No Dude in the world has a shot.

Good review. Alot has changed since 1997. It might be educational and interesting to read short stories told from and possibly set in that year (and decade)in Japan.

Sebastian and bamboohat: I really liked what you both have to say. So, these maid cafes imply a sexual atmosphere? I ask sincerely. They are like Hostess clubs in that regard? Because this JT article suggests its just a cafe where the waitresses wear "French Maid" costumes (Thats how we referred to them when I was in High School 20 years ago in the Westbut I dont know why exactly). I didnt get the "sexual" angle when I read this article but I certainly see your points after reading your opinions.
