They look like 2 normal handsome guys in rented costumes. I thought the concept of "charisma man" was a nerd in his own country that becomes somewhat appealing here? these guys look extremely normal and average Joes. It sounds like alot of jealousy to me. The girls are pretty if somewhat unoriginal in their costume choices. For all we know these guys could just be here on a holiday. I dont see anything unusual about this picture. It sounds to me the actual "charisma men" are the ones posting, jealous that these guys might actually NOT need to come to Japan to find girlfriends.

"their children" -sorry
Posted in: Do you think children of past generations had better manners than kids today when it comes to gestures like saying "please," "thank you?"

@my2sense -What in the *-** does "I look like a gaijin hitman" mean? Kids have more to be thankful for these days but I doubt they are any more or any less appreciative than past generations. I would imagine the question should be- Do parents today instill fundamental manners in there children more or less than past generations?

Parents were 18 and 20 when they had a child. On the Western 10 year age curve that applies to Japanese maturity thats like an 8 year old and a 10 year old deciding to raise a child. Small wonder this happened.

herefornow-what planet are you on? Pop Divas are exactly what they are. They are categorized as Pop, they are all vocalists and the demographic of their music during their popularity has been teenage girls. Pick up an Entertainment magazine and do some reading before you start trying to categorize their mindless bubblegum nonsense as diverse or even music. just like Glee is hardly a show worth taking seriously, so is the music they imitate. You must be a teenage girl.

"folks as diverse as Olivia Newton John, Madonna, Lady Gaga and now Brittany Spears"- I dont think diverse is quite the word I would use to describe Pop Divas. The shows wit and talent, as with most, lay with the writers. As American Idol has sadly shown us, just about anyone can sing and as Dancing with the Stars has shown us, dance. It is a funny show but lets not over do it.

Pestronica is spot on. The demographic of the show has nothing to do with the demographic of GQ.

meloveulongtime- if your son walks down the street or into a convenient store, he is going to see sex magazines, sex hotels and in some cases sex posters advertising sex shops and theaters in more urban areas. not to mention the countless dudes on trains openly reading dirty magazines and manga n front of everyone. If that isnt your case, you are living in a bubble. It has nothing to do with how you raise them unless you make them wear blindfolds.

because the demographic for such things are teenagers that have no idea what they want, who they are or what is tasteful or talented, so they just follow what images re sold to them through media sources and peer pressure.

Perhaps the "men and underwear in this country" thing stems around cross-dressing? it is an easily embarrassed culture and a man might prefer to take the risk of stealing then buying womens panties in a shopping mall.

numbers 6 and 7 Japanese guys do too. They get absolutely HORRID haircuts. They wear their skirts way to high and then obsess about pulling them down lower every third step they take. They wear old woman sunglasses 12 sizes too large for their faces at night while riding bicycles with their shaded eyes glued to their cellphones. If you throw an apple at 50 percent of their faces, it will stick if they are smiling.

I believe they have security check pints, no electronic devices on, overhead storage bins, baggage checks, seat kickers, sleeping passengers, staying seated until landing, and stinky feet on pretty much all flights, not just the ones to the USA. As this websight has a foreigner demographic mainly, I think International flights are a pretty universal topic. Not solely American.
