Lucky for me that I live on the east side so Ueno and the Keisei Line was always faster than NEX. The only time I actually feel happy living in the east-side of ANY city in my life time. :)

Be happy that Uniqlo does this. It helps out others and doesn't cost you a thing. Who knows, you might even get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing you didn't chuck out something that could now keep someone warm on a cold day.

Not sure why they haven't bother making these panels look less like panels. It does look awful on a clean roof if you put these up so why can't more effort be made to make them 'bend in'?

To quote South Park about the film's main star, she is a "transvestite donkey witch."

    That made my day...

Man, even Super Wonder Bread get old quickly... such a shame even with all that money.

    > Now I know these lawsuits are currently in the US only, but I also know if the industry succeeds we see a fast spread of laswsuits.

Kyoken, only in the U.S. can you expect to make money for nothing. That excuse of a movie sucked harder than my Dyson vacuum. Maybe the viewers should form a class action suit against the 'Hurt Locker' producers for wasting their time and money (for those that actually paid to see it).

The U.S. is known a country full of sue and trigger happy whiners so is it any wonder that they spend more time trying to bully individuals than try to fix the problem? In case you didn't know what the problem is, it is greed as I pointed out in my opening sentence.

You might want to be careful with this "service", as it links to illegal copies of movies. With the current crusade of the big media conglomerates and your IP in the clear, you might get post from their lawyer.

why would 'you' as the 'watcher' get in trouble? Say you are walking down the street and some dude says "psssst, hey buddy, head down this street and make left and then a right and you will see a house where some guy has left his front door open so you can go inside and watch his movie collection for free on demand". Since it's a 'public' display that would be illegal, no? So why would you be in trouble and not the guy providing the movies? Same thing as walking down the street and finding a 'couple' going at it on a street and you stick around to watch. The cops would arrest the couple for 'doing it in public' and not you unless well of course you whipped it out and rubbed one out.

Only cutie worth mentioning is on the far left. The others look like they have enjoyed far too many cheese cakes. Dude on the left should join the cheese cake girls and put on a little weight!

It doesn't matter where in the world I go and stay calling that place home. All TV has been 'raped' over by the Cable and Telcos that now I stay clear of them and just get the fastest 'net connection to get my fix of 'tv and local/world news'. Movies and tv series are either BR, DVD or downloads and then watched on whatever screen just happens to be in that room. I now network every room in the place and have on demand video from our own media server, online cloud servers and streaming signals from a NAS at friends' places. This is the way to go. The next time NHK comes knocking on your door to 'collect' the 'tv tax' just tell you don't have a tv and then close the door or better yet just open the door in your knickers scratching your bits and ONLY speak NON-Japanese. :)

Why not ask the question "who gains the most by sinking the South Korean Ship?" Then step back and think if that's the case could it be possible that someone else might have done it to move own their agenda along.

There are about nine different "groups" that might have done this with only three real outcomes which leads to only two groups that would reap the rewards if they succeeded. I'm just saying don't use logic where logic has never been used.

*I never also lock my check-in when flying in the U.S. Many times have found in them the note that my check-in was inspected. If they can't open it they break the lock or cut the soft bags. *

It will happen soon if it hasn't already but this lazy system that the Amerikans have of leaving your checked in bags unlocked or using a TSA lock will get a tourist killed for being an unsuspecting drug mule when that person gets caught entering a death penalty country. Why not have an optional line up to have your checked in bags hand searched and wire tagged sealed like a electrical meter so you can lock the bag up with your own locks and know that it was never tampered with? Oh that’s right… that would make sense and not give the Amerikans the option of playing fuzzy grey area of stripping the rights of personal safety away from individuals. Great system they have if they ever want to frame someone or get rid of someone. Hell, why not make a law that says you must leave your front door unlocked or have a Government master lock system that allows just about any low level worker access to your place ‘just because’. Brilliant system!!!

WOW 13MP sensor on a TINY lensed camera... why not make it 24MP? It still won't look as good as a 6MP image from a DSLR. More pixels behind a tiny crappy lense does make a better image. No mp3 play back is one of Japan Inc.'s biggest scams in terms of what they claim and why they don't allow.

Crack your phone and if you can't because it's one that's not crackable then buy one that can be cracked. It's your phone so it should do what you want it to do unless they give it to you for free but then it will be junk anyways.

Been there done that. In the winter it's not so bad and I always recommend if you can at all get into the end of the car on the first car then it's not too cramped.

As soon as it starts to warm up in Tokyo, say April through Ocotber then it's a sweat-fest and no matter how high they crank the A/C you're still sweatin' buckets. Waiting on the platform for the train in that humid heat ain't no picnic either. Get some sweaty smoker next to you and you start dry heaving.

Then there's the times you get stuck on the line sweating it out forever because some selfish moron has decided to have a look at the underside of an express train on your line. It takes forever for them to clear up the backlog all the while you just sweat buckets in a car packed like sardines. Mmmmmmmm.....

Don't fix anything that isn't broken. Why spend money blocking stupid people from doing something they should not do? The more someone tells them not to do something is only more reason for them to do it anyways. I think the best thing to do is to place this story FRONT AND CENTRE throughout Japan and let everyone see what not following instructions can lead to.

What's with the green vest wearing people? Are they there from Green Peace to make sure that all that tuna begin auctioned off is really tuna and not dolphins... or that it was killed in a humane way?

This scene almost looks like a bunch of UN observers making sure that all is well when really nothing would be done to make any effort to change anything.

Not really what I would call a 'news worthy' picture to a non-story. This image would definitely not make me go to see the Tsukiji Fish market if I was wondering what it's all about. I guess that was the point of this picture and story.

To me this whole thing could have been averted had the parents been doing their job as parents. First jumping on furniture is just wrong. Jumping on someone else's furniture is never right so what the hell were the parents doing? They don't put trampolines next to glass or open 6th floor windows in gymnasiums so why would the parents not see this as a disaster waiting to happen? I hope everyone learns from this stupid waste of life.

Oh, and noticed that I never bothered to mention the fact that there could have been someone trying to sleep in the room adjacent to the jumping girl's room or the fact the little girl could have snapped someone's neck on the ground during her fall... Funny how Japanese are always suppose to be pretending that they are thinking about those around them and their feeling and then we hear about a stupid thing like this that makes you wonder.

Hahaha 'global warming'... wow 50 years!!! If you don't thump a bible you'd know that this rock has been here more than 6000 years so 50 years is less than a blink of an eye in time.

I just can't wait for volcanos to be blamed on 'global warming'. Then we'll truly know that those 'global warming' people are 'tards. Hey if we get 4 worldwide volcanos going off within days of each other we could head into 'global freezing' and that I would truly fear because there is proof that has occured before. Not only history but science can prove it would happen. This is the same science that CLEARLY shows that man made global warming as sold by the 'tards is BS.

What, no big black bus this time? I too find it hard to believe that these fools would expect that the "Japan of today" can even read their message in Kanji since most are barely able to read a daily newspaper. Now write those right winger messages in 'text chat' format and they'll be understood but most likely not agreed with unless it's a 2ch nutjob.

In general and I mean general smoking should be banned outright. What good does it serve? Taxes? Nope! Taxes collected do not cover medical cost so it's a loss there. Smokers tend to butt out anywhere they can leaving the world to be their ashtray so another negative point there. Smoking STINKS outright and even if there's no smoke there's toxins that cling to the smoker's clothing so yet another negative. Claims that smoking keeps your weight in check is total BS unless you're lucky and develop cancer and hopefully die quickly to spare your family and friends the suffering of seeing you wither away. So all in all smoking is a real downer. What was the point of smoking again? Oh right, because your friends all do it or you want to look cool... grow up already will you!

Your right to smoke ends where my right to breathe clean air begins.
