Ueno and Asakusa are probably my favourite parts of Tokyo - I always loved browsing through Ameyoko, even with the huge crowds. The history of it is great too....

Why have a flotilla when you can have 1 ship (a carrier or an LSD)? Japan doesn't need Nimitz size carriers (historical precedents notwithstanding) - perhaps something the size of the Pincipe de Asturias or Invincible, if thier only role is self defence. Anything bigger…
