They should transfer the pirate captain to a JCG cutter and then take him to a holding facility in the Ogasawara's or maybe even the staion at Okinotorishima and question him there. Then make the Kiwi Gov't come and pick the nutter up, all at the Kiwi's sole cost and expense.

You are right, many airlines have premium seating. I'm sure Mr. Smith knows that too. But, nonetheless, he decided to fly Southwest, which only flies unison economy class only seating.
He should have flown UA or AA and in first class to avoid the situation.

He should work to try to get the JCG out there with the research fleet to get a little target practice in.

“We urge the U.S. side to fully understand the high sensitivity of Tibet-related issues, honor its commitment to recognizing Tibet as part of China and opposing ‘Tibet independence,’”
We urge China to open its eyes and realize that most of the world likes to speak with the Dalai Lama and that every time it "Blasts" another sovereign nation about it, it makes China look even more like an ass.

Hardly a mission for the JMSDF. It'll be enough for a couple of JCG clippers to go along with the fleet and pepper the SS with nicely placed 20mm rounds. They had plenty of practice from sinking the alleged NK spy ship from back in 2003, they should do fine against the SS pirates.

AA would be much better off upgrading its seats, in-flight service, and especially the flight attendants to get more business.

Firstly, my choice would never be AA over NH(ANA), especially for the premium class. US carriers simply do not measure up to Asian carriers for trans-Pacific routes....
Secondly, the N'EX green car service from Shinagawa to Narita works just fine, and the new E259 type N'EX is very nice.

In the eyes of the backward uncivilized starving nation, everything must be "an act of war" as evidenced by all the yapping that it has done over the years...
Farting towards the general direction of Pyongyang is an act of war accoring to the Troll Leader's standards.

Went to Yagihashi's Noodles in Macy's and will say that the Ramen's soup is pretty decent (for Chicago. LA Noodle shops are much, much better) but its preparer and servers need to be educated a little more in the art of making ramen. They don't strain the noodles strong enough and also, they make the critical mistake of preparing the ramen first when ordering the combo set which results in the Ramen being finished first and the noodles getting drowned in the soupd while waiting for the gyoza to be finished. So much for al dente....
Hell, you'd have the ramen shop owers screaming at you here in Japan if you just let the ramen sit ruining the quality of the noodles.

Of course, somehow, China will attempt to play the victim card in this matter also, stating that outsiders are interfering with Chinese internal affairs...
They may also blame the Dalai Lama for the hacking incident.

still doesn't beat the 911 call one guy made in Florida for an incident where he was refused service at a fast food drive thru. Called over and over again until the police just went outright and arrested the nutter/caller.
