Techy today, aren't we? I don't believe for one minute that this scenario played out as we've been told it. Too much booga booga goes on in the US media, all in its attempt to manufacture consent for a new war. What saved the US economy after WWI? Why WWII of course! And the couch potato nation will continue its one-finger remote-control aerobics while it is conned yet again by law-enforement spokesperson(s) who speak on condition of anonymity. Pathetic. Bill Maher said it well, "If America can't get its act together, it must lose the bald eagle as our symbol and replace it with the YouTube video of the puppy that can't get up. As long as we're pathetic, we might as well act like it's cute."

If only McCain were president....We'd already HAVE a nuclear war!
This is some pretty desperate spin going on here.
Iran notified the IAEA about construction of their new facility. That hardly seems consistent with the idea that Iran is keeping it a secret. No real surprise they are building it inside a mountain considering what Israel did to Osirik.
Now the US is trying to claim they knew about the facility all along, but does this make sense? Would it not have been in Israel's and the US's interests to expose the facility while it was still not reported to the IAEA? Such an expose' would have been very damaging to Iran and turned many other nations against Iran's power station.
So, what appears to have happened is that Iran notified the IAEA of the new facility and caught the US and Israel by surprise, because they should have known and apparently did not. So now the Us and Israel are standing there with egg on their faces trying to pull off a "we knew it all along" face-save.
This the same Israel that just told the UN to go screw itself regarding inspections of Israel's nuclear facilities?
This the same Israel who is refusing to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty?
Iran allows inspections.
Iran has signed the NNPT.
There is a thin line between Chutzpah and looking like a hypocritical ass and both Obama and Netanyahu just sailed over it. If Iran informed the IAEA about construction of the plant, then it is hardly secret.
I do not know what Israel pays the US to look this stupid, but it is not enough. As President of the only nation to actually USE a nuclear weapon against the civilians of another country, Obama should shut up.
It's obvious Netanyahu doesn't appreciate the bitter irony of his statements on this either in that:
Iran has no weapons of mass destruction: every single IAEA inspection has borne this out.
Israel does have weapons of mass destruction, but refuses to sign the NPT, allowing those weapons to be inspected.
A very nationalistic, Zionist religious fundamentalism which colors Israeli politics to the point where you hear the claim that Eretz Israel (the true Nation of Israel) should exist from the Nile to the Euphrates!
And the ultimate bitter irony:
Given the fact that Iran has attacked nobody in more than 300 years, unlike the USA and Israel! 'Nuff said.

rajakumar Read closely: With President Barack Obama presiding, the U.N. Security Council on Thursday unanimously endorsed a sweeping strategy aimed at halting the spread of nuclear weapons and ultimately eliminating them, to usher in a world with “undiminished security for all.” Nobody's talking about eliminating nuclear power.
Nuclear power might be the best thing yet to save the planet from greenhouse gas emissions.

Further negating an Islamic-Nazi alliance:
and
In fact, there is evidence (not readily to hand unfortunately) which would seem to indicate that a certain element of what was to become Israeli society wanted "lesser" Jews to go elsewhere, not to the future Israel. They identified these "lesser" Jews to be prime candidates for exile to the likes of Canada, USA etc. etc. Rather than there being an Islamic-Nazi alliance, it would appear to have been more of a "True Blue-Blood" Zionist-Nazi alliance. Israel had been planned since Herzl, some sixty years prior, and the implementers saw the opportunity to pre-select their population during the planned chaos of the Reich's purification drive. To say that the Zionists cooperated closely with Goering has merit in historical fact. One which modern Israel studiously ignores, and blinkered Holocaust-Firsters won't even entertain, under pain of incarceration. Why? None of this answers the obvious question: Why are the Palestinian people paying the price with their land and their lives for something they had nothing to do with?

What rubbish! During the war (supposedly against Jews) a delegation from Jerusalem, all made of Zionist party organizers, flew into Berlin and met with senior Third Reich officials. and briefly eventually with Hitler. The Reich wanted to rid the German Empire of Jewish residents by having them emigrate, not be killed. The delegation which visited was assisting in having other countries accept expelled Jews, to Canada, the USA and other countries which would have them. They were also there to explain their hope and plans to establish eratz Israel (later the state of Israel) and wanted Hitler's support, which they got.
Census figures, verified by the Jewish press office in Paris showed that the total number of Jews in all of Europe at the time didn't come to 4,000,000 and that more than half of them appeared to have emigrated by 1942-43.
If you want a connection worth pursuing, then follow up on Prescott Bush's liaison with both Hitler and Mussolini, laundering money for them both so they could obtain dollars with which to buy arms to kill Allied soldiers.
If a million Jews were killed at Auswicz, as reported above, then where did the two plaques on the wall there appear from. One says 4 million, and then another later affixed (not sure if it's still there as it's been a while since I visited) said 6 million. The numbers don't add up, especially given the fact that German reparation to survivors now exceeds the number of people reported being interned.
I don't doubt for one minute that people died. I don't doubt for one minute that these camps weren't horrible places. But I DO question the repeated and repeated stories about these events. Time to clarify, codify and document this once and for all. Asking questions about fabrications does not count as denial. Doubt is good, and truth needs no legislation or antics like Bibi's to support it. Show me the facts, just the facts. But to scream "Holocaust denier!" every time someone asks for hard facts tells me somebody's got something to hide. Who, what and why?

"Six million Jews were killed during World War II, one-third of all world Jewry. In Europe, nearly every family was affected — including Netanyahu’s own." Really? Oh no they weren't. A trio of the Soviet forces, the Allied forces and the ICRC at the time put the number at no more than 185,000. Whoyagonna believe?
And if Bibi thinks the Iranian president has no legitimacy up on the UN podium, what does he think about Angie Merkel? After all it was the Germans who "did" the Holocaust, not the Iranians or the Palestinians. Neither of these groups are actually wiping anyone off the map. Only Bibi is doing that.

Let's reverse these sentences, shall we: “Nothing is easier than blaming others for our troubles and absolving ourselves of responsibility for our choices and our actions. Now is the time for all of us to take our share of responsibility for a global response to global challenges. Those who used to chastise America for acting alone in the world cannot now stand by and wait for America to solve the world’s problems alone."
Well, sorry, Your Excellency, but that's not how it works. "Y O U broke it. Y O U fix it!" (Iraq, Afghanistan, the financial system, the environment, Palestine by proxy etc. etc. etc.) America for the greater part, and against the best advice possible, acted alone. Now America must take responsibility for that. Period.

Way back St. Thomas Aquinas remarked, "Nemo dat quod non habet!" (No one can give what s/he does not have). Palin proves this. On this, her first trip wherein she needed to obtain a passport to travel, she waxed eloquent about things of which she knew nothing. THAT was the full value of her "speech." Nothing. (Can she see Russia from Hong Kong? Or does she know that they even speak different languages? I doubt it.

Regardless of what you think about President ArmorDinnerJacket,
(Doesn't it make you want to hear what Ahmadinejad has to say, just to find out what the US and Canadian officials are so terrified of?) Set aside all the crap about "wipe Israel off of the map" and "Deny the Holocaust".
What certain folks are REALLY afraid Ahmadinajad will do is ...
Remind everyone that the US funded the attempted coup in Iran.
Remind everyone that the IAEA has never found any evidence of nuclear weapons development at Iran's power station.
Remind everyone that Iran a signer to the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty which grants Iran a right to peaceful nuclear power.
Remind everyone that Iran allows full inspections of their nuclear facilities.
Remind everyone that Israel is NOT a signer to the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty.
Remind everyone that Israel does NOT allow inspections of their nuclear facilities, despite a recent United Nations request that they do so.
Remind everyone that the United nations has accused Israel of war crimes in Gaza.
Here is a pop quiz.
A. Iran
B. Israel
C. United States
Which of the above three did NOT lie to the world about Saddam's "nookular" bombs?
Hint: That's the one to T R U S T!
I could befriend an honest kinda guy like Iran, regardless of his religious leanings. Why not the US of A?
A military attack against Iran will unite the Iranian people to support Ahmedinejad and their government, no matter what they think of him. This is a very logical approach. And because it is logical, it is an approach which the US will avoid completely.

US, Allied, Russian and Red Cross numbers put the actual number of Jewish people who died in ALL camps from 1939 to 1945 at about 185,000 when the tally was done in 1945. How the heck did this mythical figure of 6,000,000 emerge when the Jewish-community installed plaque at Ozviecim/Auswicz states that it was much fewer? How?
The Iranian President ( and I don't care much for him, I must admit), has taken the time to read the numbers and come to the same logical conclusion I have. Why the insistence on this magical number of 6,000,000. Tell me?
Unless, of course, it's a L I E? Let's have an intelligent debate on this, shall we? But President ArmouredDinnerJacket has one great point: WHY was Palestine given to the Jews for what Germans did? Shouldn't they have given them, say, Saxony? Or Bavaria? Or even Rheinphalz Westphalia (if you can pronounce it)??????? Logic anyone?
