I'll field this one Sarge. He's referring to 95% of taxpaying Americans, not the bum Americans who wax lyrical on the web and who should instead be helping the country get out of its economic malaise, like one President Obama is doing. All hail President Obama.

Why don't they introduce a system where people throw out their garbage on certain days of the week e.g. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, for example. Then less will be thrown out each day, especially on the wrong day.

I think it that if it was murder it was one of his fellow inmates. Problaby something was said that lead to his murder ... IF it was murder.

Two words: he was in solitary confinement.

“We have to start out on the right foot if we want to get revenge for Beijing at the WBC,” said Ichiro.

That's it little man, time for you to put on your big boots again on the WBC stage. Personally I'm looking forward to disappointment continuing from Beijing for you and your unrealistic cohorts. We're only interested in the gold medal. You got nothing. And now nobody wants the next manager job. Can you blame them? Small, small crop of leaders are penning a new book "The Japan that can finish second. Or third or fourth."

I don't think the LAPD would be creating an international incident for themselves

    Agreed. Sensible post.

I don't see much of anything in it much less awkwardness.

Did you look at their faces?

    I concur with the badge.

My question concerns the hat he was wearing on the flight over - was it just another case of a Japanese having no idea of the English he was wearing (Peace Pot Microdot), or was it a subtle sayonara?

I have no doubt this Japanese man committed suicide. I reckon he did it straight after the last rounds check by the guards, figuring he'll be gone before anyone has time to stop him venturing off into the void of nothing. I reckon the LA coppers would have loved to see him go to trial where they had a good chance of putting him back behind bars and at the same time let everyone know yep we're just waiting for people to make mistakes, like going to Saipan where warrants are standing, we're waiting for people like you to slip up. Yeah.

He (Mark Geragosalso) said a hematoma on Miura’s larynx could have come from a forced choking. He said the pathologist concluded the injury could not have been caused by a self-inflicted hanging.

Could have been choked. Could not have self-hung. Blah blah blah give the man some more money.

Just throw less out, and put more on your balcony or under the tatami.

After perusing this article posted by JT, not one mention of Iwamura

No not this one, but Iwamura does own the Rays doesn't he?

    A Japan nationalist, are you?

You'd better believe it. Lucky I have Japanese tv with their tunnel vision to remind me who is winning these games.

So Iwamura versus Taguchi then? I'm sure one of them has the gaman spirit that will decide who are the World Champions. (Note: the answer is the Japanese.)

Ah the awkwardness of anything Japan does with the rest of the world.

Oh dear. Iwamura's Rays have beaten Matsuzaka's and Okajima's Red Sox. So which Japanese player will Iwamura be up against in the World Series to decide the outcome?

"Cash mountain" doesn't even raise eyebrows or register as ironic. They really are the Party of The Rich.

You can always climb on up. I advise you leave your buckets of sour grapes behind though, and instead take this cloth to wipe your glasses and read this guide about reality. Yes you too can make a contribution, if your party hasn't opted for taxpayer finance cos that would be the only way to pull in sufficient funds.

No better way in the modern world they'll learn that as you sow you will reap.

Yep people learnt that with their votes in 2000 and 2004.

What does bother me is the amount of foreign cash and the media's complete indifference to this violation of federal law.

The numbers there pale into insignificance. Are you worried about some fringe element? That's on both sides. If you are really interested in a more peaceful world and a safer America you still have time to reconsider where your vote is going.

Powell:"I would have difficulty with two more conservative appointments to the Supreme Court, but that's what we'd be looking at in a McCain administration."

Is your problem with time, coulrophobic, is that it moves forward, not backward?
