Didn't Mickie D's used to have a Mc-BLT or something like that? I think it was a burger laid out open-face style and you got to put your own lettuce, onion, etc... on it.

TJ, nobody did anything to you. Get over yourself. I agree with USAR... where you been?

Name a privacy right you have that's been stolen and how you've been targeted. If your impoverished, YOU did it thru poor financial planning.

Jmills... I seen one as well, but I agree with CM, but with an adjustment.. I don't think it's the NEW guys off the ship, I think it's those that haven't been here for a while and spent a bit of time in the states with the HAWK before joining the GW. Trying to get back in the groove of driving can be daunting. I guess.

I work on Yokosuka, about 100yards from the front gate, and about 10yards from the walking gate behind ATG. If there were any protests, they were REALLY quiet and well behaved. Which is, of course, to be expected here in Japan.

Exactly WHAT voting record are you, and those vets groups (of which I am one) comparing??? Obama HAS no voting record beyond naming post offices, commemorative stamps, allowing abortion survivors to die, so forth and so on.

Yes, mainly elderly folk who don't yet know that the McCain-Palin Celebrity Ticket are going to privatise their Social Security and punt it on the sharemarket, and we know where the sharemarket has been going recently.

Methinks you better start reading the proposal.... because your liberal talking points are failing you.

America needs a lot more Mike Moores. Your media is so concentrated in the hands of so few people and so pro-business that anyone presenting an alternative view is like gold

Right....Because the right wing controls the media...

Yep... the "arrogant" one has his 8 gold medals. Who wouldn't be arrogant with not only at attempt like that, but actually pulling it off?

The fact remains, that all those things are MORE of a reason to celebrate his VASTLY successful 2008 Olympic achievements. Maybe you can hop in a pool sometime, whip him at whatever distance you'd like, and then show him how to be graceful in winning.

Or maybe you can realize (but who am I kidding), that suffering thru those things to him seem a bit "less" now that he has won, and he is celebrating having lived thru hell and still coming out on top. After all, he's beat EVERYONE who didn't have ADHD, go thru a training regime like that, was able to sled, etc....

Besides... I didn't say HE had p-envy... I insinuated that YOU had it because, unlike him, your not a world champion in 1 event. Much less 7 and probably 8 before it's over with. Yet, YOU think you know how a world champion should behave.

If it makes him look like an arrogant loudmouth when he isn't really, then maybe he would be well advised to temper his behaviour somewhat so that we can see what a nice guy he is

First off.... it's a swimming contest, not a "nice guy" contest. Part of the qualifying thru the years does not include anything about being nice. Who gives a crap how nice he is?

Secondly, it damn funny that those of you in this forum talking about him being loud, arrogant, etc... aren't in China competing. After all, if you were to practice for YEARS as much as any of THEM did.... kept raising your level of play... kept practicing thru injury and everything else... and THEN smashed a world record to become WORLD CHAMPION (much less in 7 events)... THEN you might have some credibility when it comes your ideas on how an Olympic champion should behave.

Until then, your all suffering from the sports world's version of peni$ envy.

Tiger Woods is probably a very good athlete, but as a golfer, he doesn't get to show off his running, jumping and throwing.

    Gee... I wonder why?

Tiger Woods has amazing concentration, but he only bench presses about 300 pounds. Are you saying he's a better athlete than someone who benches 500 pounds?

Are you saying that all athletes are measured by how much they can bench?

Posted in: Forbes magazine says that golfer Tiger Woods is on track to become the world's first billionaire athlete by 2010. What do you think of the astronomical sums of money that sports stars are paid?

Lipscombe, don't laugh too hard. A recent study by the New Scientist states that it is POSSIBLE that the cutbacks that occured in the last 25 years, or so, in freon usage and aerosols MAY be at least partially responsible for the "global warming" that the Goreacle is screaming about. It goes on further to state, using their particular climate models, that any ACTUAL "global warming" is not only natural, but negligible in the amount of warming actually occuring. Of course, ALL studys are offset by other studies, and they all tend to achive the result desired by the sponsers paying for it...

Seems that the aerosols blocked the suns radiation and heat from getting thru the clouds, thus preventing the build up of heat, etc..

So... according to this study.... our early attempts to alleviate our mandmade and natural contributions to the ecology may have possible actually made it worse.

Now... THAT is something to go hmmmm... about.

"romulus can buy anything he wants, anytime he pleases...he just has to hand back one of his two softbank phones to get an i-phone. he has the touch pod already. but its a new purchase. whats he to do?"

    1. Hand in the softbanks.
    2. Buy pen and paper.
    3. Take classes to learn how to avoid talking in the 1st person.

Then, when your successful at that, go and buy an I-phone. A phone is a phone, but you might as well give your self a treat for such hard work and dedication.

J/k... But I agree with sarge. If it's not Aya on your arm, who is it?

Not to mention... the REASON behind the adjustment disorder. Royalty is NOT a pleasant thing when you have handlers like the royals here in Japan do. They can't go anywhere, do anything, see anybody, have visitors (friends and even family), etc.. without the handlers approving it. And approvals are based on what is good for the appearance of the royal family, not the desires of it. And the handlers could care less about the royals feelings about anything.

If little boys and girls knew how it really was, the fantasy of growing up to be a princess or prince would be something you would never see.
