"Lady" GaGa. Not sure why ANYONE can insist she can sing and perform, other than they must have an extremely limited view of those attributes.

Becky. God, that girl and her attempts at eternal "cuteness" get on my nerves.

And that girl that was in The Last Samurai currently doing makeup and tv commercials. Can't stand her. Want to reach into the TV and punch her in the mug.

And sorry.... Obama and anyone connected to healthcare reform. You had a supermajority, and you blew it. There was no way for the GOP to obstruct, so quit whining on and on about your own feckless ways and either shove it thru or start working on something important... like jobs and the economy.

Jeez... you guys are all over the place.

The Haka is NOT ONLY a war dance. It's done as a welcome, for entertainment, etc... and it is NOT only done by men. MOSTLY be men, not not "only" by men.

You might have a point if they were doing a Cibi... but they are not.

They need to just meet halfway on this.

No they do NOT. One is an employer, and the other is an employee. In today's economy, with unemployment as it is... you either do exactly as you are told, how you are told, when you are told... As an employer, it is not that difficult to replace a "new" guy whose suffering from some confusion over his place in the hierarchy.

Chris.... after 3 months of telling them, day in and day out, to not allow a 3rd ring, what would you have me do? Tell them again?

It's obvious that, by that time, they didn't believe me serious. They did that day and for the next 2 years the phone NEVER, not once, hit a 3rd ring.

There are many ways to motivate someone. Showing anger that isn't directed at any particular individual is just one of them.

Toddy... Answering the phone is thinking "outside the box"????

I've dealt with this. I told these people that the phone should never hear a 3rd ring. And I told them day in, day out. I finally got ahold of an old broken phone and hid it on my desk. Next day, 3rd ring? I took the phone and slammed it on the floor and yelled "TWO RINGS AT THE MOST" as loud as I could with a pissed off look on my face.

    Problem solved.

Take it or leave it! U.S.A needs to mind its own business!!

How dense can one person be? Those children born to U.S. Citizens. yea... they are also US Citizens the vast majority of the time. Even if they are not, they are the children of citizens.

So your proposal is that the US leave the situation regarding it's own citizens alone.

Great. Just what we need. More people that know nothing about anything making bad decisions based on flawed emotions.

    MADVERTS

    Obama failing means America fails.

And THAT my friends, is all you need to know. Liberals belive Obama is bigger than America. Republicans KNOW that he is not.

He is not the savior. He is not the messiah. He is not the answer.

    He is the PROBLEM.

    Sushi,

The Democrats NEVER, not ONCE in 2009, needed one single GOP vote to pass Obamacare. Not ONE. And yet... even possessing the needed majority, they couldn't get their "mandate" through.

Quit acting like Obamacare, OR ANYTHING ON THEIR AGENDA, is teetering on the abyss because of GOP "obstruction".

Obama is an empty suit. Always has been, always will be.

    m5c32,

    Both are in the wrong

That would be incorrect. One, the whalers, are complying with the LAW. That would make them RIGHT. There might be a need for the debate to, once again, address whaling as a whole, but for now... they are completely within their legal rights to do as they are. Difficult to call something "wrong" when doing that same thing is considered legal.

Do the anti-abortionists who bomb a clinic, even if nobody gets hurt because it's after hours, have any right to do so? After all, abortion is certainly more of a morality issue than whaling. Yet.... abortion is legal.

I understand that "legal" does not necessarily make something "right". Times change. Laws change. But, until they do... stupid things like putting your itty-bitty boat in front of a whaling vessel is asking for trouble.

That's easy to deal with. Make TWO lists... one "friends" and one "others". You can lock "others" out of whichever items you want.

So, you're wanting me to provide proof that there is NO racism in the Republican Party? Yet again, you tailor your "points" so that any opposition to your points are proof of the very point you profess to put forth.

Here's a challenge for YOU. Post your proof that the Democratic party is any LESS racist than the Republican Party. Care to take THAT challenge?

October 13, 1858 - During Lincoln-Douglas debates, U.S. Senator Stephen Douglas (D-IL) states: “I do not regard the Negro as my equal, and positively deny that he is my brother, or any kin to me whatever”; Douglas became Democratic Party’s 1860 presidential nominee

April 16, 1862 - President Lincoln signs bill abolishing slavery in District of Columbia; in Congress, 99% of Republicans vote yes, 83% of Democrats vote no.

Too old for you? Gonna start with the "things have changed arguement"? Ok, fine.

October 3, 1924 - Republicans denounce three-time Democrat presidential nominee William Jennings Bryan for defending the Ku Klux Klan at 1924 Democratic National Convention

September 30, 1953 - Earl Warren, California’s three-term Republican Governor and 1948 Republican vice presidential nominee, nominated to be Chief Justice; wrote landmark decision in Brown v. Board of Education

September 9, 1957 - President Dwight Eisenhower signs Republican Party’s 1957 Civil Rights Act

September 24, 1957 - Sparking criticism from Democrats such as Senators John Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson, President Dwight Eisenhower deploys the 82nd Airborne Division to Little Rock, AR to force Democrat Governor Orval Faubus to integrate public schools.

On and on and on and on... Civil rights in the United States, and specifically that on behalf of the black people, were championed by the REPUBLICANS.

And I’m tired of the recitation that Southern Democrats became Republicans and took their racist tendencies with them. It didn’t take for the Clintons and Barack Obama (Democrats) long to trade race cards, did it?

The entire point being that you and your party of progressive's is just as guilty, IF NOT MORE, of racism throughout the history of the United States. You can revise history all you want, but the facts/dates/affiliations stand out pretty plainly for anyone getting their info from actual history instead of the left's talking points.

Are there racists on the right? Damn straight there are. Just as many, if not less (yes, I said LESS), than there are on the left. You're gonna have to find someone other than me to practice white guilt voodoo on. I don't have it - never had, never will.

For myself, if I had to prove a null hypothesis that Republicans are not a racist political party, I would be looking hard for evidence that they are not. I do.

Horsecrap. It is blatantly obvious that you continually look hard for evidence that they ARE. And you're finding that "racist" boogeyman in everything a Republican does.

I especially like the "They are racists, you can see it in everything they do. And if they deny it, that proves it" slant you put in your "point".

Sarge, personally it won't make a bit of difference to me if Obama turns out to be a good president or a bad one,** but I find it incredibly amusing to watch Jed Clampet, Ellie Mae, Grannie and Jethro going into hysterics at those town hall meetings**. Maybe you're right, it's not racism, they're just back in the fictitious Dogpatch USA, living in a time war

Exactly WHO is it that has the largest problem with the opponent? The GOP, Conservatives, etc... who have a problem with Obama's policies, or the left IN GENERAL who continue to stereotype/slander all the opponents?

You've softened the word "racist" so that it really doesn't mean anything anymore. Which is fine with most of us anyway. You've rarely shown the ability to use the word correctly anyway.

Where is Obama's lie? In the OMISSION. The left opposing verification of entitlement TWICE, using already existing systems that would not incur additional cost, is tacit acknowledgment that illegals were going to get access to government provided health-care. Saying that THIS BILL DOES NOT ALLOW IT, and then after being called a liar, amending the plan to specifically prohibit it - is another admission. If the bill DID NOT allow it to begin with, why change it afterwards?

The GOP has learned it's lesson in the first 8 months of the year. It's not what you Lib's put in the bill... it's HOW you leave it out that is cause for concern.

Besides... if any of you actually believe that there will be any bill put forth by the Democrats that doesn't include illegals... you're nuts.

    You know he was lying.

Does anyone SERIOUSLY think that any bill put forth by Obama, Pelosi, Reid, etc.. is NOT going to take care of the illegals?

No contradiction's there in my statement.

It COULD have happened that way. But, I DO NOT trust the man who's screaming about it.

I'd give it about a 5% chance that it actually did happen that way.

What a surprise. Was this before, or after, the accusations he made against the US and Israel while he was with the UN in Palinstine? I can only assume it was after all the accusations he made against anybody in the 1980's...

Anders Fange is a professional Anti-American. Take what he says with a grain of salt until PROVEN differently. He's known to stretch the truth and contort the facts to try and make a point.

However, It would not surprise me to find that this may have occurred SOMEWHAT like he says it did. But, I'd wager Timor's frank-n-beans that if it did, Fange had a huge part in causing it with his attitude, actions and words when the military showed up.
