She is classy, true French elegance. And her tailleur must be more expensive than my apartment.

People loot food, remember TV reporters being asked desperately for water in Haiti. But the boundary between looting food and a brand new 52" TV is thin, I guess.

I half blame smokers, half blame companies. I am pro-Obama, but I really think he should fight this bad-smelling habit.

It will be a great game, even my Brazilian boyfriend who never ice skate was thrilled with the USA vs Canada quarterfinal match and is anxious to see this true sport classic.

Bobbafert, you are completely right. And you are a great parent, I am sure your son already is a great human being.

However, if you allow me to give you an advice: don't take him to these places. He will learn nothing there. Even I refuse to go to parades, gay or hetero. People tend to drink a lot before and during the events, and then you have to witness what you saw. Elegance is not what you will find in these sort of events.

@ Madara: yeah, Japanese gay parades look more like a manga parade, in comparison to San Francisco, Sydney, Rio they are even somehow childish.

I prefer Havaianas, they're cool and simple.

I live with a man (I am one too), but somehow I agree with bobbafett said. These parades are organized by what we call "professional gays". I hope you understand that there are other ones, like me, who prefer discretion and are low-profiles - but I defend our cause. I just don't think I need to behave like I want to have sex in the middle of a street to show what I am, or what I fight for.

This is something Japan should be proud of. It failed, but their trying was noble.

Romeo Is Bleeding. Lena Olin is the perfect fatal-s.o.b. woman in this movie.

The deceased's family is saying she had the "job of her dreams". What about the Orca's version of this job? When the show was over, the trainer was free to go, to do whatever she wanted, while the poor thing would stay another endless day inside that aquarium. I am sorry for her and her family, but it really irritates me how we human beings make other animals suffer for our abnormal sadistic pleasure!

On the other hand, Canadians are working hard to embarass themselves in front of TV cameras. First that unfortunate luge accident, yesterday Holland giving up the bobsled competition due to fears of another fatal accident on the same course, then Canadian women behaving like, well, drunk bears. What's next Canada?

    IOC director:

“If that’s the case, that is not good,” Felli said. “It is not what we want to see. I don’t think it’s a good promotion of sport values

And Mr., what about IOC world famous bribery politics? Any comments?

Perhaps Israel wants to be "caught", what better excuse to be attacked and - goaaal! - therefore win the right to counter-attack. With US blessings. Isn't this the same formula used before?

whoof, I decide to lose my precious time and image-googled all the boys mentioned in the article. My conclusion is that 99% of Japanese girls are lesbians, that's the only explanation for them to be in love with boys who look like women.

Whales have so much to do when they're in the wild. What about rubbing their bellies against that certain type of round rock found only on the Canadian coast, a behavior scientists still don't understand? No wonder they feel stressed living in small spaces, everything a boring blue and glass, only the companion of other poor stressed whales and the hard-to-understand human beings riding on their backs. Cetaceans are intelligent! Free whales!

I read some years ago that China was a Sleeping Dragon whose tail Koreas and Japan should beware of. For even a small move of its tail would cause great damage. This is the region I certainly wouldn't want to live 20 years from now. By then China will certainly have become the # 1 world economy, and we know what Chinese can do when they have the power - Tibet and Taiwan are good, or bad, examples of things still to come.

The yelling or constant ring of "irrashaimaseeeeee" gets really annoying. Sometimes I'm the only person in the store besides the clerk, but the clerk just keeps saying it as if they have some kind of internal timer.

As I explained before, their constant yelling is a warning to other staff that there's a not so welcome customer inside the store. Pay attention and you will realise they don't keep saying "irashaimaseeee" when a J-customer enters the store.
