I think this is a very positive step. It would help a lot if trains and subway could carry bicycles. But Europe is a step ahead on this, there are some cities being built for bicycles only:

Well, here we are. The economy is getting worse by the hour. However many people are feeling better now - things seem to have slowed down and it´s not a bad thing at all. I see my friends enjoying more time now around a coffee than going shopping, like everybody else before.

I remember I saw something on CNN saying that the total credit card debit in US is more or less $20,000 per person. Americans do spend more than they earn, not everybody of course. So, in the end of the day, this new regulation will do well. I think people will start using debit cards more. I already do.

At least they´re talking. A Palestinian state would bring balance to the region, Arabs would feel less humiliated by the two ¨best-friends¨ and peace would eventually with Arabs raising from their forced poverty.

It´s a nice car. But people aren´t so eager to buy cars these days, a lot of them giving up cars. Hybrid cars have to become cheaper and greener, or they will not succeed.

All four victims had Spanish names and sunrnames, you can easily infer that they were born in US but had strong cultural ties to Mexico. It´s wrong to say that this implicates that they went south for the wrong sort of partying - buy that´s what must have happened. And Mexico is the new Colombia, the land of drugs and crimes, unfortunately, because mexicans are so gentle and hospitable.

What really bothers me is that the government instead of making foreigners blend with the J society with less separatist measures, it makes the gap wider law after law. My guess is that fewer and fewer foreigners will want to live in Japan. +1 here returning to US after this spring :)

As nonsense as this Pope is, he is smart enough to not side with Israel. It´s ok to keep diplomatic relations with Israel, but he knows that the times that the world supported the israeli cause are long over. People have shifted their support from pro-israeli (soon after WWII), to indiference, to pro-Palestinean.

Do not carry less than 100 thousand yen in your wallet. Do not show a credit card which is not gold or platinum. Do not appear with a hairdo which is not the latest trend, even if it makes you look like an anime character. Do not, god forbid, make a mistake about details of brand bags. Do not forget to teach her some English over the drinks, that´s why she is dating you: because you are an English native speaker.

Here´s one of the best sites ever: they upload an space/earth image taken by Hubble daily. It´s fantastic, wonderful to see these images. Makes one humble - usually Earth would be the size of a fraction of a pixel in contrast to nebulaes/galaxies... Hubble is one of the things that really the world has to thanks US for.
