Most people have some myths about homosexuality that make them afraid of it: 1) the myth of stereotype. Gay men and women are thought of as either effeminates or butchers. Which is far from reality. There are a lot gays who are your neighboor and you don´t know about. They don´t give signals, the same way a hetero person doesn´t need to signal he/she is hetero. You would be surprised of how many man/man or woman/woman beautiful couples there are around. 2) the myth of oversex. People think that same-gender couples are about having sex, while the opposite is the truth. You may think of a gay married man as of a hetero one: discover in puberty, sexual life in late teens pre-twenties and a marriage in early 30s. Which is something good, since marriage means stability.
Being a bisexual I have dated both men and women, never hid it from them. I may say that dating another man is as sweet, peaceful, troubling and passionate as dating a woman. I have been dating this sweet, deep, caring Danish guy for sometime, and if asked to upgrade this date to a serious engagement, I will do so.

Cheney again enchanting the audience of lie-believers. How it comes that after 7 years of abusing interrogations, the Bush adm didn´t find Ossama´s whereabouts?
So, what US gained with these obnoxious interrogations?

Jews are way too proud, and agressive, to even think of this.

You should learn something from these same foreigners, including me. The way we see what the whole situation, Bush and his friends are as criminals, or even more, than the cited terrorists. From most of our point of view, the terrorists acted on supreme anger/despair for the Palestina cause, against two of their greater enemies: Israel who stole thie lands, and US who keeps sponsoring Israel no matter what. On the other hand, Bush acted out of pure lies and arrogance. His actions were based on lies/bullying. So to any human being, anger and despair are morally more acceptable than lies and bullying.

That´s why I support Obama: after 8 years of lies, he is a man who is telling the truth. Is it inconvenient? it is, surely. I think every American feels ashamed of having a President who lied for 8 straight years, and even so always had high popular approvation ratings. I feel comforted that this administration is saying, yes, we made horrible mistakes, let´s face it and move on. That´s what grown-ups do.

That´s why US and other nations should attend this event. Behind any sort of rage there´s an agente provocateur.

humblesamurai: your analisys lacks facts. Homosexuals are barely 10% of the total population, and among these 10% you may compute a large number of bisexuals, even married ones. What you have is a tiny number of the ¨pure¨ type of homosexuality. So how can hms decimate the earth population if 90% of it will keep having children?

Sabiwabi, I wrote Jewish meaning not only Israel - but the culture and religion as well. After all, Jews in US and Europe are powerfull lobbbyists, even if they don´t physically live in Israel.

I support Obama, but I feel disappointed with the US administration on this subject. I think this jewish problem should be talked, even if in heavy, hot exchanges between the 4 sides: those who are pro-israeli, those against, the neutrals, and those in-between. Such a tiny country that causes so many problems to the world since its inceptions must be talked about. So we can find a more peaceful future. Let Israel live, but in peace with the rest of the world.

Nice words from a shintoist, no wonder you have even shrines for war criminals. Respect other religions if want yours respected. Islam is not perfect, no religion is. And yes, we can coexist in peace.

I think this matters when it comes down to adoption.

No. For the following reasons; 1. Ishihara hates foreigners. How can Tokyo host an international event? 2. He was elected using this politic: so you infer that Tokyo population hates foreigners too. 3. Japanese population in general avoid foreigners. 4. Who is gonna pay the HUGE taxes coming down the pipe? yes, you and me. 5. That sad thing before World Cup 2002, when authorities would warn hotels, bars, clubs, about the foreigner-risk. 6. Olympics here wouldn´t be so festive as it would be in Chicago, Rio or Madrid.
