The websites you refer to are not 'neutral'. They also have an agenda. Why don't you just quote the Daily Mail.

Oh Alf Garnett, I don't think you've seen British TV in a long while. ITV is on a sharp downward spiral and has been for a long time. Their news bulletins have been thinly disguised editorials for years.

The BBC is impartial. It is also independent of the government, which all governments have hated, and has been the whipping boy of the right wing media for a long, long time. The BBC will be damned if they do and damned if they don't. It's not the first time they have refused to broadcast an appeal (the last was for the Lebanon a couple of years back). Don't remeber any fuss then. The broadcasting rules on these appeals say there has to be a consensus between all broadcasters. Up until yesterday there was a consensus not to broadcast, but the other TV companies have broke away, probably a good opportunity to join in the BBC bashing that has been going on in the past year. There seems to be a lot of uninformed opinion and deliberate avoidance of facts going on in this debate.

They do declare it, on your e-ticket and on the website when you book.

I've never had a problem at Heathrow. Shame JAL and BA aren't codesharing any Kansai international to Heathrow flights.

Hooray! Now retire from all your other shows. Mino Monta is so dull. His popularity has always been a mystery to me.

I agree with whitepocky and statistician. You have to pay for checked in luggage on ryanair and easyjet, had to for a long time. Why no mention or report on this vital subject.

With the yen so strong anyone who was considering visting Japan would think twice now. Even with these hotel prices reduced, it's still expensive for a European tourist.

I hate that 'gu' woman with a deep and abiding passion. Not funny, just annoying. Even more irritating and talentless than most other 'talent' you see on J TV.

If 'boobs' (dreadful word) aren't so important why did they buy those plastic ones? They also seem unable to resist the urge to show them off. Their manners must be appalling. Those two give me the creeps.

All but private museums are free to everyone. When was the last time any of you lot have been in a museum in London?

Nico's cafe in Cambridge Heath Road is cheap filling and typically British. It's mentioned in Egon Ronay's guide.

Some of the prices are wrong. And why is it written in dollars?

Yes, in some restaurants lunch is cheaper. Still expensive, though.

When I first came to Japan a few years back a chikan thought he could touch me. I just reacted like I would at home, started shouting at him and calling him a pervert. He got off at the next stop, and all the other passengers either ignored me or gave me evil looks, so I didn't try to report it. If it happened now I would go to a koban and report it.
