France pooped on Algeria from a high height but the Turks need to check out the definition of genocide, as that is not a correct description. Unlike their own genocide.
France however was no angel to it's colonies, but the Algerians are returning the favour with the dregs they sent to live in France. Anyone doubting that needs a trip to Marseilles. It's the only place in Western Europe I've seen people toting AK47's openly.

With the unilateral obstruction tactics of the gop how on earth do you expect to get anything done? And that's uttely ignoring the eight years of the Bush train-wreck when Obama came to office.
The fundemental problem is the defunct two party system in the US still attempting to pass itself off as a democracy. It's embarassing.
And besides, who else is there for the job? They may as well call of the elections, the repub candidates are abysmal.

I sort of agree Honest, but let's be fair and say most politicians have already a fortune before they become head honcho. Surely the post would seem more honourable were these people to take a lesser salary and desire to peform the job out of pride for one's country?
But then again -, they used to pay French cops the minimum wage because they were supposed to do it for the love of the job. That just meant huge low level corruption so maybe you're right. The bigger the post, the bigger the corruption I guess.

Not very large willi. According to wiki "An estimated 59% of the Belgian population speaks Dutch (often colloquially referred to as "Flemish"), and 40% of the population speaks French." Apart from patois spoken on the German borders I've never seen a Belgian to speak German, or speak highly of them either to this day. Flemmish is basically Dutch ABN anyway, quite easy to understand if you've got an Anglo and a latin language under your hat.
This sorry affair sounds simply like a loser that screwed his life up and went out screwing plenty of others up. I'm sorry the anti-Islam angle never panned out.

We're supposed to be thankfull that prosecutors got this far I guess. Personally I'd rather see the courts time put to good use instead of wasting time on show cases of rich old white farts like Chirac or DSK.
