Honest is right. In private or designated areas. Like alcohol. And stamp on those that abuse it.
My main worry about secondary weed fumes is that it leaves traces in the blood for months even if you had not one toke, and the domino effect that a roadside drug test could cause you serious problems. Here in Europe their swabs have a 50% accuracy rate, yet it is used.
Legalization will cause a heap of problems but it's got to be done.
And taxed.

The Israeli's just swapped 1023 prisoners, probably sworn fundie enemies 'till death do us part, for a kidnapped national?
And the leader of the Hamas has openly stated what a great idea the kidnapping was in light of their gains.
I usually sit on the fence but the Hamas have basically shown to all the reasonable people what evil specimens they truly are. Even animals refrain from demonstrating such kind of behaviour.

No dad should be buckled in front of his nine year old. Yet as a lifelong petrol-head, I'd have surely driven a car at the demand of a parent at 9, badly I would imagine, but for sure I'd have had a go.
The girl in the story must have been quite adept, certainly she's driven a few times before, possibly even certainly a natural if the story has any credibility.
Stick her in a 100cc kart, see how she competes.
And have the fathers brain removed and placed in a car. Parenting should be licensed like driving!

Heh, maybe it's the "care" angle that upsets all those crazy wingers. But we all know that kinda attitude can lead to a wide stance in the bathroom.
Kinda un-believeable they haven't got a credible candidate to oppose Mr Obama, since they do whine about him a lot. It smacks of '04 to me, where despite opposing the illiterate, nay oft mentally challenged Bush jnr, the dems couldn't cough up a candidate other than the grey and boring Kerry who ultimately lost to Dubya, something I still have a hard time understanding.
The obstructionist, America be damned and NO to Obama is the only program these people have from opposition. And that isn't a program...it's simply pathetic.
The party should have splintered after Bush. An end to the two-party sort-of-a-cracy and quite possibly, the child-like antics of todays US politics.
Messy in 2012 it's gonna be.

The finest point on this thread, succinctly put.
Hit the dealers where it hurts, their easy way to an affluent, tax-free life. A tremendous amount of under 50's in Europe smoke weed on a regular basis, it's just farcical keeping something illegal that is so popular. It's not as if abuse brings the ills of alco-yobish behaviour either, they just .....well, go limp.
The real problem is that everyone will grow their own and the state won't be able to get it's grubby mitts on the booty.

My intitial comment was to sarge, who like many of our die-hard rightwingers, hate Obama for everything. Yet when something positive is done that they cannot deny, well, just read above - it was thanks to policies implemented by Bush.....

It was his word against hers without a scrap of evidence. 9 years later. No prosecuter in her/his right mind should have taken on such stupidity. The waste of police and the courts time is simply an outrage to this French tax-payer.
And the only reason she brought the charges were because at the time, she along with the rest of us thought he would be an un-willing US resident for many years to come, and that it would be nice and safe to prosecute him from his newfound sanctuary Rykers Island.

Proves? The NYC case was dropped by the prosecution. Heh, you do understand that the prosecutors role is not only to decide whether charges should be brought, but also to see a conviction at the end of hearings? Can you grasp that if the prosecution abandoned the case, and because of issues related to the credibility of the accuser, that it was not only a blow to the pride of the prosecution, but that the truth was she was a coniving piece of work. The launch of her civil case before the criminal case are enough to prove reasonable doubt of her cash-seeking intentions.
DSK is an old, rich pervert. I live in France and follow French politics and everybody knows this. It doesn't mean that evidence, and facts - should not apply in attempts to prosecute him. Bannon sought fame and the maid sought money. Neither were honest as you say.
