  Just shows how low the value of life is here in Japan...had the authorities cared she would have been in a suicidal watch, or better yet, counselling and looking deeply into the reasons and motives of her actions...that is one reason why the people concerned are forever amateurs in dealing in just about anything!

  This is weird...when the entire world goes to daylight savings in the summer, Japan asks to cut down on power supply in the winter...who wants to come home in a freezing house? Why can they be the opposite of evrything? Sorry, I won't, I will continue to heat up my house till it makes me sweat! this campaign or whatever you want tk call it should be imposed more during the summer when all electricity goes full blast even on high noon!!! Pchinko paroles is one main waste of such...comvenieng stores is second!!! Sorry, but I will not co-operate on this.

  The whole Kigali program doesn't have to snow, it's the most boring thing to do on new years eve....why not show concerts of foreign singers..tha would be more interesting.

  Glad for this article because I feel the same..I've been living here jn Japan for more than 30 years now, and it's just getting worst..it not only happens in a small towns like Chibu..I live in Tokyo and it does happen here..what about when they call your name out loud and hand you the cup and tell you in detail what to do in front of prying eyes....omg, I just get so embarrassed..

  Nice article Makoto San. As for me, I come from a global family, we are all spread out, Australia, Spain, Mexico, some parts in the USA, Qatar, Canada, Philippines..did I miss on any country yet? Anyway, whats important is that you're happy, and I'm sure that's all what your mom wants to hear and know. As a mother myself I've prepared myself for these..for as long as my kids will be happy with their partners, it really won't matter where and which country they live in.
