That's true Tsuki!!!!you are so right!!!!! There's no Christmas here in Japan, first of all when the kids grow up they go their on way...it's all commercialized, there's no spirit but within myself and the little tradition I taught my kids, it's up to them if they want to continue when they have their own family. To me it's the saddest month of the year, I started feeling this way when I started living in Japan.
Posted in: Christmas decorations and illumination displays are already up in many parts of Japan and in some other countries, too. Do you think it is too early?

I truly agree with Gogogo....I stayed and cried for a month upon seeing the news and the devastating effect..I told my husband I was staying as this is my adopted country where my children were born and who are Japanese themselves..it's either we all go away together, or we all stay together..I stayed..and I don't regret it.

" more support for single parents and mental issues much need",,,,ah the Japanese authorities are still studying the case...oooooopppsss , meant, cases!!!!!For the moment, they want more babies, and children killed, abused or bullied for their future studies and then they will decide to make the changes..so this will be effective around the time my son becomes a grandfather...and that's a long while yet. Meanwhile let's continue to read the news, and share to the world to spread awareness..in our own little way.

I called the attention of one elderly guy when he was about to dispose his empty can coffee on a bush in the sidewalk...this was the second time I've seen an elder do such thing...so..it's not only the young.

Social service, child welfare, family courts in Japan simply sucks, and if there are no changes and new reforms implemented as soon as possible, it will continue.

As I have not read every one's comment and opinion on this, here's what i have to say. Why the big fuzz over some silly unintentional joke? I remember way back when watching Ken Shimura's Drifters ( I think), he would portray himself as praying to God kneeling next to a big crucifix with God and his arms spread out and nailed, there he would say his prayers and for penance a bucket of water would fall right above his head! Nobody made a big deal out of it, and yet that was what we Catholics call blasphemy...I learned to understand now that to each country, to each joke, and to each understanding, and on how you take it!

How about this question that's been bothering and would like some answers????What happens when your daughter or son enters that AV world whatever you wanna call it? How do parents react? I just happened to read about this porn star Maria Ozawa, and my golly gee, she's young , can even speak a little english and attractive..I can't seem to fathom why she chose to be a porn star????? What a waste and a shame she must've brought to her family...no wonder she said in one of her interviews that she and her mom don't actually get along..I would disown her if she was my daughter..sorry, there are so many jobs out there..I will give her all the advice, and who knows maybe she's sick, and so I will get her treated, mental or physically, whatever her sickness may be related to her libido...or whatever.

Social welfare, authorities, guys, are you still on the thinking process of what and how to go about the situation here? Or do you still need more innocent lives to ne sacrificed?

OMFG!!!! Will this continue? Its the first week of a cool breeze that autumn brings, I remember the killings and the murres started end of spring and went on weekly for the rest of the summer... Where are the authorities, what are they dong about it? Social welfare workers should be assigned to visit homes with parents that seem questionable, abnormal lifestyles and most specially to single mothers. Would this be hard to implement, rather than hear news that another innocent life has been taken away?
