A call to the police about a guy bleeding somewhere isn't particularly strange is it? It seems like the kind of phone calls police get everyday. The strange call was the first one, in which the caller said he killed someone but gave no further information. That phone call led nowhere.

How is this true? The strange call (the first one) didn't mention a crime scene at all. The second call, from a passerby, which wasn't particularly strange, is the one that lead police to the bleeding man, and then the note, and the woman.

The "robot" isn't much more than a remote controlled doll with some voice recognition software. Useless other than as a promotional device for Tokyo University and Professor Hiroshi Kobayashi. As I said before, Disney World had similar robots in the late 1970s.
