@Wurthington~ Sorry meant to add that something does have to be done about the work/life balance…
Perhaps the father wasn't working. Perhaps he can never see the children under Japan's ancient sole…

Wouldn't stress more likely cause psychological trauma, rather than physical trauma?

If the birds showed physical trauma, wouldn't that rule out dieing from stress?

Generally? Yes, but only because I have flown a variety of airlines, including many based in Asia, which have far better service than United.

I am glad to see the widow has three lawyers. Hopefully they will aggressively pursue compensation and call for criminal prosecution of the officers involved. Ideally, that will put pressure on other police departments to improve what appears to be a tragic lack of officer training.

The Mos Burger near me was delivering at least 2 years ago. If your seating area is already full, and you're turning away customers, delivery service might make sense financially. Motor bike fee, gasoline, insurance, and labor cost for the delivery staff. In exchange, you get extra sales, and some advertising, without the cost of additional seating.

My understanding was that there were no Shinkansen crossings - that Shinkansen lines either went over or under roads, not across them.

Digital metronomes have been around since I was a kid, so that's at least 25 years. Is being able to remember previous settings particularly important? It's just a number of beats per minute, after all. If you wait long enough between uses for the batteries to run out, isn't it equally likely that you'd forget which song you were playing the last time you used it?

Supposedly, cell phones can interfere with pacemakers, so they are banned from use in the priority seats. That's the rationale, anyway.

No, there shouldn't be. The primary purpose of the FAA is to insure safety, security and efficiency of airline travel. Marsh St. Clair's problem should be handled by the courts. She, and other consumers should complain to the airline, ask for a refund for failure to provide the seat space that was specified in the contract. If they refuse, sue. The FAA has more important things to worry about.

The question is poorly worded. Communication on networking sites is primarily in writing, so slander is less likely than libel. So "no" to slander. Being bullied? I vote "yes". The question asks, "bullied or slandered", not "bullied and slandered" so I vote "yes". The poor wording of the question makes the voting results meaningless.

Was it necessary to locate the tower in Tokyo, where land prices are expensive, and there are many high-rise buildings? Wouldn't some rural part of Japan have been cheaper, and with fewer high-rise buildings?
