Singapore TV, don't tell us you don't know the meaning of the word ''if'' in your sentence. it would have been better not to have issued such an apology then. Shame. This could have happened in your safe island too

Just a quote some a friend ''A semi-liter ate, self-right eous, Evangelica l former governor of a gun-toting , oil-produc ing state who has intentiona lly avoided any understand ing of other cultures, geography, economics, history, or anything else from fifth grade social studies now wants to become commander- in-chief of the world’s most powerful nation. What could go wrong? She is not a Bush, she just lives in the bush. Or at least she pretends to. But there are many more worthy people to be elected, and some of them may have a bush without sounding like one.''
The above sums up my fears of semi-education. Far dangerous than illeteracy!

'' And what we cannot do is use this tragedy as one more occasion to turn on each other'' Hi WilliB, find out who made the above quote among the two speakers

We are waiting WilliB. What would you have said? Don't repeat the dear Sarah, who as a mother of a young girl, could have chose to talk about the 9 year old girl who got killed but chose to lecture us about herself and her selective history/memory

Well, the difference between the two persons who spoke today became further and clearer. One for self defense and self victimization whilst the other for healing and betterment.

Hey Sarah, you need to account for the collateral damage in the case of the 9 year old girl.

Yes, kill the cell phones, all hotels and chase away the girls in uniforms hanging around the Ekis. Teen prostitution can only be reduced with moral education... Not an equally immoral cop. Afterall, the are the biggest offenders in all the bizarre things in this country

I'm once again worried by comments by a colleague poster. I quite remember this same poster made a distasteful comment about the Cambodian stampede because they are a third world country and that we shouldn't be surprised by a similar stampede in India pretty soon. I'm referring to mexicano. Once again you are generalizing it as a problem peculiar to ''many of the poorest countries on that continent'' Even if you gonna believe in this bogus survey as explained by Antonios M, spare us the generalization.

Guys thanks for your comment on the c card and the loan thing.
I'm not the complaining type. I got nice paying job with money coming in from both within and outside Japan and PR but can't get loan and since they don't offer any reason, the only reason that comes to mind its that of being foreign.
