I'm really proud of Bell and Boeing for persevering with a new concept. It's definitely starting to prove itself, someday hopefully it will provide good return on investment. Almost every other major development program in the US Armed Forces is an upgrade/modification of an existing product. I'm afraid innovation is really going to suffer due to extreme risk aversion. Of course we want safe products also, tricky to find a balance. Anyway, go Osprey!

Completely not what I want. I have a laptop and iPad for skype/facebook/casual gaming/etc... I want a console that does one thing very well: run epic, awesome, games with stunning graphics and music without crashing! I feel like something that tries to do everything usually does everything OK and nothing great... I'll wait for the console that DOES appeal to the core gamer.

Surf: I'm far from an expert regarding debacle, but I have a hard time beliving what you're saying because in 2012 the government could pay me to work 40 hours a week but in 2013, with sequestration, they'll only be able to pay me to work 32 hours. Unless they're robbing Peter to pay Paul, which I wouldn't be surprised...

As others have posted, I can't help feel bad for the average Kim in DPRK. Even if the launch is a sucess, it's such old technology. I can see the point of self reliance, but they're being left in the dust.
I think it's really in the hands of a deep seated military leadership. They look so self important everytime I see them on TV clapping away while everything around them looks 50 years out of date.

All JSA has to do is find tall, overweight Japanese men that want to wrestle for fame and glory except at the same time don't mind living like a shinto priest. How hard can it be?
I think some more incentive might be good. It seems 90% of the wrestlers are happy in the middle of the herd which makes for some snooze inducing matches. Though before I pass judgement, I'd love to know if it really is that easy to fall flat on your face right out of the tachi ai.

I think we're giving him too much credit. My guess is the current trend will be followed:
1) Promise everything. 2) Get elected. 3) Do nothing in order not to offend anyone. 4) ??? 5) Profit. 6) Repeat

Seems like a monumental waste of money. Clear winner: Landowner. Follow the money, as they say...
So the issue will never be resolved, great... I'm glad to see humanity has matured. Goes for both sides.

Black doesn't absorb heat, it absorbs light which is converted to heat. Your body isn't giving off light, therefore black doesn't absorb body heat any better than white. White should be better overall.

I don't know how some corporate leadership can live with themselves. Reading about things like this and the Chisso Minamata disaster really shakes my faith in humanity. There seems to be a major lack of empathy below Japan's shiny, polite surface.
