It all boils down to communication. I know this because I ahve been to a lot of ryokans and i have never been mistreated. I think a little Japanese will help. But Japan should cater to ppl who cannot speak Japanese i.e English Menus etc

how can you leave a baby in such a dirty place and in a plastic bag? Even if you cant keep it, there are better options then a toilet. *sigh
